Leah’s P.O.V

It was Saturday already and I was busy putting out my dress and accessories along with the diamond necklace Kenzie’s dad got for us, he seemed nice.

It was great weather in fact I heard that we can expect rain this morning so hopefully it doesn’t ruin the party because believe it or not I’m actually really excited to wear my dress, I’m absolutely in love with it.

I got nude heels and then of course the diamond necklace and I decided to wear my hair in wild loose curls and the only things I had to do before I could start on that was shower and eat and the rest of those every-day things.


Once I was finished dampening my hair I decided to go get breakfast and opted for the easy muesli and yoghurt. I liked that as well, I think most days I ate that since it was quick, healthy and incredibly delicious. I poured myself a glass of orange juice and headed to Mckenzie’s room seeing that she was already talking on her phone most probably to her dad about the party as she sat with hot curlers in her hair and leaning against the bedroom suite head board. She was constantly nodding and thinking deeply into whatever matter they were discussing, I decided to head back to my room and finish my breakfast putting on music and dancing around a bit.



When I glanced at my clock I saw it was already 2pm so I decided to start getting ready for the party which started at 7, I know it’s still 5 hours but I have a lot to do and I’m really not in the mood to rush everything so I started with my makeup well not started but more like thought… yeah, about what I was going to do with it. I decided on a smoky eye and red lipstick with a winged eyeliner and got started on my ‘masterpiece’.


I was halfway done when Bai walked into the room with a huge smile plastered on her face as she strolled over to me looking at me doing my makeup. She started singing along to the music and fell on my bed and I knew something was up so I turned and asked what was going on and she asked if I could help with her makeup as well since I’m quite good at it but only if i’m not too busy, I happily agreed and told he to just give me 10 minutes so she lied on my bed singing and then started to scan through twitter and giggled every now and then, once I was done with my makeup I looked at myself in the mirror one last time feeling delighted that my makeup came out as planned and motioned for her to come sit down, she asked for something not too over the top yet pretty so I did a slightly lighter smoky eye on her with a nude-ish lipstick.


It was 6:12pm and I had just finished my hair and I got it into that perfect wild loose curl hairdo I wanted and walked to the other girls’ rooms to check how far they were, Baileigh was standing by her closet staring at her shoes deciding which pair to wear, she had a ton of shoes ranging from converse to stilettos so quite the collection actually.

As soon as she saw me she strolled to me pulling at my arm to help her decide so I picked out a pair of black heels and she smiled gratefully at my choice, I decided to leave her be and walked to Kenzie who was already in her dress she called me over as soon as she saw me.

“oh thanks heavens you’re here, I was just about to call you, can you please help with the zipper?” I nodded and reached the zipper pulling it up and when I was done Kenzie asked how she looked and I just smiled and nodded she really looked pretty in it.

I walked back to my room and took off my gown and decided to quickly get dressed since it was almost half past 6 and we would leave at 10 to 7 giving us enough time to get there. I got into my dress and put on all of my necessary accessories looking at myself one last time in the mirror approving the way the beautiful white dress hugged my curves perfectly, I grabbed a coat and left my bedroom seeing Kenzie standing by the door waiting for us, she typed something on her phone and told me our ride was here, we called out to Baileigh and after a few minutes she came out.


When we arrived at the venue everything was all lighted up, the trees were covered in fairy lights and cars were parked down the street for a good few miles, some big party this is! We entered and soon Kenzie spotted her dad and pulled us to where he was standing.


“Daddy!” she exclaimed as she hugged him, he looked at us all and gave us compliments on how grown up and elegant we looked and we were chatting happily when Mr. White excused himself to go welcome everyone, Kenzie told us where we sat and we quickly took our seats and I saw that at least 15 people could fit around this table and I was quickly pulled into a whirlwind of thoughts on who will be sitting with us, I saw Kenzie’s mum heading over to us and she took a seat greeting us all.

“Ladies and gentleman, may I please have your attention-Kenzie’s dad started off as everyone went silent- I would like to welcome you all to the funds for females fund raiser, may I just say how lovely everyone looks and I appreciate each one of you’s attendance so to show it I thought of a perfect surprise for females here tonight…

he said and moved his arm to a door at the back of the stage where the boys came out of a door and strolled happily to their places as Mr. White left the stage, they looked incredibly sexy as always and I realised Baileigh was staring at the stage as she clapped endlessly, I looked over at Kenzie and she smirked at me giving me a wink and then I realized that she knew they were going to be here and Bai most probably told her about me thinking Harry smiled at me, I glared at her in shock and turned my attention to the stage where the boys were making jokes and then the music started…


“this fund raiser is for abused women so…” Liam said as Louis cut him off..


“we thought of a great line up starting with..” again Louis was cut off by the rest of the boys


“what makes you beautiful” they all smiled and began singing the song I loved so much. I sang along with Baileigh laughing at the faces the lads pulled while singing. I kept looking at Harry, he looked quite amazing, his hair was all wild yet perfect and those green eyes were sparkly tonight and every now and then his dimples would show and he kept goofing around making faces and doing goofy moves I clapped and sang along and then it happened again


Our eyes met.

He looked dumbstruck and as if he blanked out again and kept staring at me furrowing his eyebrows a bit, I started to blush and I bit my lip not knowing what to do so I decided to take a sip of the fizzy pink drink in front of me and when I looked up Harry had his attention back on the rest of the people and as the song finished he looked at me again flashing me another full dimpled smile. The boys sang Steal my girl and when the song finished everyone cheered including me and then Baileigh looked over at me.

“did you see the way he stared at you leah?”

I bit my lip not knowing what to say back.


“I saw it” Kenzie said in her british accent flashing a smile.


I blushed a crimson red and excused myself to the ladies room to calm down a bit. When I came back there they were sitting at the same table as I were, guess now I know who all the other seats were for, so now it was Kenzie, her mum and dad, Baileigh, Me, the 5 boys, el, Perrie, Sophia, Paul the body guard and 2 other people looking middle aged whom I assume were partners of Mr. White. I walked over to the table and quickly sat down.

“ahh Leah you’re back, everyone this is my friend Leah” Kenzie announced when I sat down, I looked up and said Hi to everyone ad only then did I notice that Harry Styles sat next to me, he took a sip of his fuzzy drink as I turned to talk to Baileigh on the other side of me, everyone was deep in conversation as I decided to join in on it.


“Boys thank you again for coming to this event” Mr. White said as him and his wife thanked them.

“No problem sir, it was fun performing” Liam said.


“I won’t ever get tired of performing” Lou said and Zayn nodded his head in agreement, Niall was eating some of the snacks provided at the party.


“if you will excuse me I think I’m going to go dance with my gorgeous fiancé” Zayn said as he pulled Perrie up, short after Lou and El followed with Liam and Sophia behind them as well.


Mr. White pulled Mckenzie’s mum up and they went to dance as well. Well this is going to be awkward. It was only me, Baileigh, Harry, Niall and Mckenzie left at the table since Paul also went somewhere.

“so why don’t the two of you have girlfriends hmm?” Kenzie asked as she leaned in to the two boys, I think that question was incredibly forward but okay!


“well still looking for perfectly imperfect girls” Harry answered

Niall nodded and soon everyone was joking around as all of us were talking of past relationships and so on.

“tell me, why don’t you have a boyfriend?” I turned my face to see Harry leaned in incredibly close to me, he was asking me spesifically?!

“I dunno, I just moved here a while ago from sunny California to come to UAL”


He smiled at me showing off his dimples, “so you’re into art hmm?” he asked and I nodded my head staring into those beautiful emerald orbs, “so I have a suggestion okay?” I furrowed my brow and stared at him motioning for him to go on…


“come dance with me” he said and held his hand in front of him I smiled and accepted his hand as we walked to the dance floor, now all his band members’ attention was turned to us and also their girlfriends’ and my friends’.

We danced Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t she lovely and he pulled my closer as his hand went to my lower back he moved closer and started a whispering conversation.

“you look beautiful even more beautiful then you did at out concert” he smiled with that staring deeply into my eyes.
He did stare at my?! And here I thought I was obsessing!

“you saw me?”
“yes, I smiled at you if I remember correctly”

“I believe so, why were you staring?”
“because you were enjoying yourself so much and because you stood out from the crowd” he said while giving a light chuckle.

The conversation fell quiet as he pulled me extremely close and started singing in my ear…

His voice was amazing and calming and I was pulled out of my thoughts as he twisted me and made me dip extremely slowly and as he pulled me up I stared into his eyes and his eyes seemed warm and caring..
“leah…”
“Hmm?” I asked as I put my head on his shoulder as we swayed to the music...
“would you… maybe… want to go on a date with me?”
I shot my head up staring into his eyes…

“you’ve only just met me Styles” I said smiling at him

“I know but the last time I saw you I didn’t do anything about it and then I saw you here, you’re fascinating Leah and I felt sad when I realized I never got the chance to even get your name”
My gosh, he was cute and looking at me as serious as ever, surely I can’t turn down a date with him, it would be a stupid choice and I would be breaking my own rule.

“yes”

“yes?” he asked looking excited, I nodded just as the song ended and he dipped me once more thanking me when I got up.

We headed back to our table seeing everyone staring at us, well my friends had huge smiles plastered onto their faces.

As we sat down Niall decided to speak.

“so Hazza are you gonna ask her out?” Everyone stared at him wide eyed except Harry who looked down and I started blushing.

Harry’s P.O.V

“yes Ni, I already did” I replied as I looked at Leah, god she’s gorgeous but she’s acting a bit shy tonight, I actually find it so cute on her, the way she keeps blushing and looking down.

Lou fist pounded into the air and El stared at him quizzically, he laughed and Zayn looked up at me and pointed to Leah.

“is that her?” Perrie also looked lost now I nodded and Leah elbowed me lightly staring at me… “ok to get everyone on track, Leah is Rapunzel, Leah I told the boys about you standing in the crowd and they decided to call you Rapunzel” I said quickly.


There were tons of oh’s going around the table now and then Lou decided to embarrass me a bit…

“You should’ve seen him get depressed when we told him how dumb he was for not getting you to go back stage and that he’d probably never see you again the poor lad!”

Leah laughed hysterically as Lou pulled a sad puppy-dog face.

“aww Styles I thought you were the player?”

Perrie said and I felt my heart sink a bit I looked at Leah hoping that she didn’t get thrown back by that, she just kept smiling drinking the pink fizzy liquid.

I looked around the table and noticed Mckenzie laughing her heart out at Niall explaining something, two blondes hah cute, and then she’s British and he’s Irish, I wonder how it’d be if they started dating and then me and Leah also dated… thoughts took me over as I stared blankly ahead of me and smiled only noticing when Zayn threw a paper towel ball at me…

“hay not fair Malik”

He looked at me and shrugged acting as if he didn’t do it but I knew better.

hiiiii OMGosH !!! I'm sooo happy because I have 3 subbies so far and this story has only been up for like 10 days !!!

I have a serious case of writers block at least I wrote this a while ago since I'm so busy with school starting for me again tomorrow and I Had a busy-ish vacation and my laptop broke in that way that when you type it has to be plugged in by the charger soooo I'm guessing it's my battery buttttt......
