(Niall’s POV)
My life was full of amazing things before I met Jana. But I honestly believe with my entire heart that God meant for little Tori to run into me that day, and he wanted me to find my other half. Jana, the one I love with all my heart, the one I would do anything for, the one I’d give my soul to, the one I love more than I could ever love myself.
We are both basically parentless now. My father doesn’t really have anything to do with my kids, nor does her mother with us at all. But I learned over the course of these almost fourteen years, more recently than ever, that blood makes you related.
Loyalty makes you family.
I don’t need a father, or a brother, or a sister. My kids don’t need a real uncle or an aunt, cousins or relatives at all. They have something no one else has in this world. More than one thing, actually.
They have Harry, a man who dedicated his life to be there for me and my kids when we needed him. The godfather of all of my children, the one that I can turn to when I need help. The one I wish was my brother.
They have Sophia and Liam, two people that care too much about us. Way too much. All they want is for us to be happy, and either of them would do anything to keep this diverse family together.
They have Zayn, Louis, Perrie, and Selena, four people that have made some mistakes in life, but my kids will always know how important they truly are.
As for me, however, I realized I didn’t need blood related people in my life. I have all I’ve ever wanted, all I’ll ever want from here on out. My family is everything to me. I love my life, I love my kids, my wife, Harry, Liam, everyone. I love them.
Mainly because they’ve been there for us when no one else has. When the media turned on me, accused me of cheating on several occasions. Even when I thought it would be no more.
I’ve been blessed. And I really hope one day I can personally, face to face thank God for it. Because it’s been amazing. It always has been, and always will be. Until the end, and even beyond.
Forever.
Always.
Infinity.
Beyond.
Eternity.
We won’t change, not by much at least. We might grow, extend our family more, but we will never change. We are the same people we’ve always been. We are determined to do good in this horrible, violent world we live in. And I know we can make it.. for one reason only.. because..
This is us.
And we can make it through anything.
