{Two Days Later}
Harry’s POV

‘’Hay Hay.. why is Selly cryin’?’’ Tinley clings to my leg, holding onto me tight. I knew it was a bad idea to tell Diana I would watch her today, just to be the good uncle I am. I knew this would happen, I just knew. I caught Justin here, again, and I went insane. And Tinley is afraid.

‘’Because.’’ I sigh, pressing my head against the side of her head, for comfort. My temper bounces back up as I glance up at Selena, him by her side as always, because I was never fucking good enough.

‘’I said get the fuck out of my house.’’ I say loudly, resulting in Tinley whining lightly at the screaming and the loudness. ‘’I’m going, damn.’’ He says, rolling his eyes lightly at me before leaning to Sel and whispering God knows what to her.

‘’Take her with you. You want her so fucking bad.’’ I say as he turns on his heel. Selena’s hands come from her face, her make up smudged and her eyes puffy and red. She stares at me, a pout on her face.

They both just stare at me, shocked probably. ‘’I said.. take her.’’ I say through gritted teeth, trying so very hard to control myself, but only for Tinley’s sake, no one else’s. They don’t say anything once again, and I knew I couldn’t take it anymore.

I sigh to myself lightly as I lean down after pushing Tinley off my leg lightly, just so I could talk to her. ‘’Babe, how ‘bout you go up to Hay Hay’s room and watch TV? I got cartoons on from earlier.’’ I tell her, nodding lightly so she knows this is what’s best right now.

‘’O’tay.’’ She mumbles, leaning to me and giving me a soft kiss on my nose. I smile lightly at her as she turns and runs towards the stairs. I take a deep breath and exhale as I stand up, turning to face them again.

‘’I said.. go.’’ I mumble lightly, but loud enough so she could hear. ‘’What.. what do you mean?’’ She asks shakily, her voice cracking. ‘’You don’t want me Selena, you’ve never wanted me, so fucking go. Just.. just go.’’ I say, gesturing to the front door. ‘’Har-‘’ ‘’Go, damn it.. just go.’’ I cut her off, but she still just stands there.

I decide to say something I’ve wanted to say for a while now, something important to me. ‘’I’m sorry, Selena. I’m sorry.’’ I simply shrug, not really knowing what else to fucking do anymore.

‘’For.. for.. for what?’’ She asks, furrowing her eyebrows lightly, wiping at her cheeks. ‘’For not making you happy. I’m sorry I can’t give you kids.. I’m sorry you don’t love me, and you don’t love the love we make. I’m sorry that I wasted ten years of my life on you. And I’m sorry you wasted those ten years on me. it’s not worth it anymore, so go.’’ I tell her.

She sniffs a little, still staring at me. ‘’I’ll… make sure this doesn’t.. get out to the.. the world.’’ I say, glancing over at Justin, who was staring in disbelief at me. ‘’Harry.. I’m.. I’m sorry I hurt you.’’ She says, stepping a little closer.

I nod lightly, understanding a little. ‘’I.. I just didn’t have the heart.. to.. to leave you.’’ She adds, coming over to me, stopping about only a foot away from me. I look at her, my eyes watering at the sight of the woman I thought I loved, thought.

‘’I know you two think this has been your clever little secret.. but it hasn’t.. I’ve known for a while.. ever since.. ever since it first began to happen. And I know.. I know its just because.. we’re not happy with each other. You’re happy with him, and all I ever wanted for you was to be happy. So go, love, go.. go be happy.’’ I sigh a little.

Selena’s eyes stare up to me, probably not believing all of this. ‘’Go raise your kid. Go enjoy your life.. God knows what you really want.. so go. I’m setting you free.. forever.’’ I break our eye contact and turn my attention to Selena’s left hand.

I close the distance, leaving only an inch between us. My eyes follow my hand as I grab her hand lightly, bringing it up between us. I take a hold of it one last time, squeezing it lightly.

My heart began to speed up just a tad as I released her hand, but kept a hold of it. I bring my other hand up so I could hold her’s in mine. I hold my breath as I put my finger tips on the cold metal of her ring.

Slowly, I slide them both off, watching her through my lashes. I let her hand go, she puts it at her side again. I grab my ring, and slide it off just as slow, watching the past five years of my life flash before my eyes as it leaves my finger, the absence of it feeling weird.

‘’I don’t want you to have to fuck him.. with my ring on anymore.’’ I mumble, knowing only the two of us heard that. ‘’I’ve.. already.. filed the papers.. we.. we’ll be.. going.. going to court soon.. short.. quick.. fast.’’

‘’I did love you.. Harry.. just.. just not enough.’’ She whispers lightly to me. ‘’I know babe.. I loved you too.. just.. just not.. not like we thought.’’ I nod lightly. I didn’t want this to end messy. I didn’t want to lose her completely. Just in this way, this was all just too much from the start anyways.

‘’Go get your name.. changed back.. Move on.. don’t let this.. weigh you down.. forget about what.. what we thought we had.’’ I mumble to her. ‘’I can’t.. just not.. talk to you anymore, Harry.. Niall and Jana.. I can’t.. just-‘’ ‘’I know, I never said you didn’t have to erase me.. just.. just that part of our lives.’’ I cut her off, making sure she understood my point.

‘’So, this is the end..’’ Selena’s eyes reconnect with mine as I look down at her. ‘’Yeah. The end.’’ I shrug with one shoulder, just to show some care. ‘’Harry.. I know.. I know you don’t love me anymore.. And we both know.. this is the best thing for us.. but.. but Harry.. I have to.. to tell you something.’’ Selena gulps loudly.

‘’What?’’ I ask softly. ‘’It’s yours.’’ She says. ‘’What’s mine?’’ I ask, furrowing my eyebrows at her, really confused. ‘’It’s.. it’s.. yours.’’ She says, looking down at what I thought was going to be her feet.. until my eyes followed hers.

Her hands shaking as she places them on her stomach. ‘’Its your baby.’’ She whispers. ‘’No.. not it’s not.. it can’t be.’’ I whisper softly, mainly to myself. ‘’It is.. Harry, it’s yours. They done that new test thing.. they’ve had for a few years now.. they.. they scrapped my.. you know.. my internal stuff for the left over residue.. and they found.. they found.. evidence. Its yours.’’
