30. It's Not On Paper...
(About an hour later..)
Niall’s POV
I shift my weight to my left foot as I have my hands behind my back, staring down at the floor. This tuxedo was getting on my nerves, and I was becoming a tad impatient. Jana isn’t supposed to walk through those doors until in about ten minutes. But it’s a good drive from the hotel to this church, and I really hope they make it in time.
‘’Mr. Horan,’’ The preacher mumbles lightly. I look over at him and raise my eyebrows, telling to ask whatever it was he wanted to know. ‘’You and your wife brought your vows, didn’t you?’’ He asks curiously, making sure of this.
‘’No. We didn’t write any, because it was a surprise to her. But I have mine.’’ I tell him. ‘’May I see it, just to review it?’’ He asks me. ‘’I don’t think so.’’ I shake my head ‘no’ lightly a few times before sighing, slightly rolling my eyes at this nosy man.
‘’Well, why not?’’ He asks, laughing a little out of shock. ‘’I’m afraid you can’t see it.. because I didn’t write it.’’ I say, a slight grin on my face as I looked at the man who probably thought I was a useless soul on this earth, based on my behavior.
‘’Oh, you typed it?’’ He furrows his eyebrows. ‘’No. It’s not on paper. It’s in my heart. Last time I checked, I can’t pull my heart out and let you read it.’’ I sigh with a huff as I turn my attention back to the floor and my feet, ignoring whatever it was he was trying to say in return to me.
Jana’s POV
‘’Oh.. my.. god.’’ I gasp, covering my mouth as I see myself in the mirror. The dress fit perfectly, and it looked beautiful. I felt myself begin to tear up a little, unsure of all of this crazy things happening now. ‘’Mom.. you look beautiful.’’ Tori says as she puts her arms around my waist from behind, smiling in the mirror at me.
‘’Thank you baby..’’ I smile as I continue to stare at my reflection. ‘’Alrighty girls, enough looking at Jana’s sexy self in the mirror. We gotta be outside those chapel doors in like three minutes.’’ Selena laughs lightly, opening the door.
The church we were at was huge, and I don’t even know what it is called, but nor do I care anyways. I just wanted to hurry up and see Niall. One, because I love him and I can’t believe he done all of this for me..
And two, well, when Niall does something romantic, he usually gives me some private praise too, if you know what I mean.. and I’m looking forward to this. If he has anything planned that is similar to our first honeymoon.. I’m sure I’ll come home not able to walk right..
I’ve never been so nervous in my life, and please keep in mind that I’ve already done this once and gave birth to eight kids, so I’m sure I know what nervousness feels like, and pain.
At the moment, everyone else was walking out like a normal wedding party would, and I was just standing behind the closed double doors, listening to the music play on the other side of the huge wall.
Beside me stood two of my cousins, who I hadn’t seen in forever and I was so shocked that actually made it to this because they couldn’t attend the first one due to personal issues or whatever. They had their hands on the door handles of the huge double doors, waiting for their cue.
Before I knew it, an old song that Niall and I fell in love with and have loved it ever since started playing, their cue I assume. They pulled the doors open and I was met with the gazes and stares of a very large group of people, ‘awes’ and tears were everywhere.
I’m so glad the girls put waterproof makeup on me, because I just shed a few tears as I saw Niall, he might be a good ways away, but I could see his smile, I could feel what he was feeling. Happiness, love, care, everything beautifully known to the world..
The first go around, I was nervous and afraid, but proud and ready. But this time, I think I might be more nervous, more afraid.. but more proud, and extra ready. I started slowly walking down the aisle, seeing the pink rose petals all over the floor.
He basically planned this like our first, light pink, grey, and white decorations, those were our colors. God, I loved it so much. It’s amazing, beautifully amazing.
Niall’s POV
Before I could process another thing, Jana was getting closer and closer to me. God damn, she looked beautiful. Tori was right, that dress is amazing. But Jana, she just looked gorgeous, as always of course though. Just wait until I get her alone, mm, I’m gonna take advantage of that sexy beauty of hers.
Everyone was still standing, duh, they were smiling bright or tearing up, or both. My eyes glanced over to the first pew, my mom sat there with Tanner on her lap, Diana beside her holding Talya, who was asleep, and Carolina on the other side of Diana, holding Tiffany.
The preacher nods his head towards Jana as she reaches the few steps that lead to the main stage that we were standing on. He said since Jana doesn’t have anyone to walk her, and since this wasn’t a actual ‘wedding’ I could just take her hand. So I do just that.
I meet her as she reaches the steps. I hold my hand out and she takes it, smiling and blushing at me as wink, leading her up the steps. Once she’s up here and the girls finish fixing the back of her dress on the stage, the preacher clears his throat and my heart begins to pump faster, my lungs begging for air because I was so damn nervous, so very much.
