Thinking over excessively
Joan’s POV
We sat there until suddenly the door swung open and in rushed the hysterical Hayley, she was freaking out. “Joan!” she yelled as she rushed in. She started talking – basically yelling - and as she talked she didn’t take notice about anything around her. “Guess what, while I was making my way towards here, I saw a limousine standing in the road and a man stood outside the limousine with a board saying Hayley Sprayberry. I freaked when I saw that and as I walked up to the guy he opened the door for me, saying he has been expecting me” Hayley then looked up and then only did she see Harry and Niall. She started fangirling and jumping around, not even caring if this is a hospital or not and with perfect timing a nurse walked by and saw her freaking out. Harry walked to the door giving the nurse an awkward smile, before closing the door. “Hayley” I yell in a whispering tone, but she just went on. “Do you want me to get in trouble?” I asked her and this time I got her to shut up, but that didn’t stop the jumping around. I looked around and saw Niall walking towards me. “How do we get her to stop?” he whispered into my ear. “I have no idea” I whispered back.
Suddenly Harry grabbed hold of her hand and pulled her closer to him. He threw his arms around her, preventing her from being able to jump around like crazy. After a few seconds, we could see Hayley relaxing and calming, she then wiggled her arms free and also placed her arms around Harry. “Awww… they look so cute together” Niall commented. “Yeah, but do you wanna know what’s even cuter than that?” I asked and he nodded “the way that you just said cute” I said while looking at him and then back at Harry and Hayley. “Awww… thanks” he said thanking me. Just then Hayley and Harry let go of each other and Niall and I then shut up so that we could hear what they were saying to each other. “For a moment there I thought getting you to calm down was impossible” Harry said with a smile on his face as he pressed his hands into his pockets. Hayley didn’t answer, all she did was blush. “WAIT! Is MY Hayley blushing? That never happens, it’s like impossible to get her to blush!” I said to Niall and he returned the confused look that I gave to him. Hayley and Harry stood there in silence not saying a word, just observing each other and taking in what they are seeing in front of them.
Harry’s POV
She’s just so beautiful! All the way from the strands of hair that is currently hanging in her face, to the way her skinny jeans fit, allowing her to show her curved legs. By the way she’s standing I can see that she’s shy and doesn’t like showing off, cause she’s not like the other girls who almost break their backs, just to show off their asses. She’s standing with her legs against each other and her hands in front of her- playing around with her fingers, not really knowing what to do with them while her eyes slowly move up and down my body. As I stand in front of her the butterflies in my stomach went CRAZY. I can’t believe she’s doing this to me, it’s been quite a while since a girl did this to me and the best part is that she is doing it without even knowing it.
Hayley’s POV
Harry is so much cuter in real life than on posters, each and every one of his curls are perfectly in place, he’s wearing a lose shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. The smile on his face makes is even cuter and the dimples, puts the cherry on the cake. His green orbs are carefully moving up and down, absorbing the person standing in front of him a.k.a. me!
Joan’s POV
“Ok, time’s up lovebirds” Niall said, causing all of us to jump. He walked towards Hayley and took hold of her arm before turning around and walking with her towards me. “So you’re the one that Harry got all the info out” he said as he walked with her. “WHAT!” she exclaimed- stopping- leaving Niall to walk on his own. “You didn’t know it was Harry?” Niall asked with a smile on his face. “No” she replied shocked. “WAIT, what info!?” I questioned. “Ummm…” Niall said, “I…I...” was all that Hayley could get out, “No…Noth…” was all that Harry could get out. “You guys aren’t answering my question!” I exclaimed. “Can someone please just answer my question!?” I exclaimed once again- talking a bit too hard- and this time I could feel tears building up in my eyes. “Joan?” Hayley said as she moved forward. She directed Niall and Harry to exit the room as she walked towards me.
Hayley’s POV
“Talk to me” I said as she started crying and I placed my hand on her knee. She just shook her head and kept on crying. “C’mon I know my bestie and I’ll pull it out of you, if you want it or not” I said and I think I saw a small smile on her face. “I might as well tell you” she said through her tears. “What’s wrong” I asked “This” she replied, “Huh?” I said confused “Harry, Niall” she replied as she wiped her tears away “I don’t understand” I replied still confused. “I thought about things, like I usually do” she replied “Over excessively” I said and she just nodded- in a way I started to understand why. “This whole thing with Harry and Niall, I’m scared that we get too close to them because what will happen if they have to go back to London and what will happen after wards- I mean what if this is all for nothing, cause maybe it won’t even last” she said with tears still running down her cheeks and for the first time I realised why Joan always think about things over excessively because for the first time it actually made sense- made sense why she thought about it that way and why she’s crying right now. “I see” I said as I sat down allowing my brain to process what she just said. “It makes sense” I said after a while of thinking. For the first time Joan awoken a side of me that I never knew existed- a side where I think like her (over excessively) and a side where I actually think before I do.
