What Happened To Us

Shelby's POV
1 week later


"Would you like any coffee or anything?" The blonde haired nurse asked. "No, thank you" I said politely. It's been a week and she hasn't woken up yet. A thought occurred to me. I went to the nurse desk quickly.
"Excuse me, can you help me?" I asked to a skinny brunette.
"What do you need help with?" She replied
"I was wondering if there was anyone else in the car crash that Ashton Small was in?"
"Hmm, let me check."
"Okay"
"Let's see, this says that there was a Mr. Harry Styles in the same car as Ms.Small."
"Do you know his room number? I would like to speak with him."
"417. I hope I helped."
"Thank you, you did."

I walked to Harry's room. When I got there, I noticed something was wrong. "Harry?" I called out. "Here" I heard him say from the bathroom.

After 5 minutes, he finally came out. Damn, he looked better than I thought he would. "What the hell happened, Harry?" I said, on the brink of tears. "Honestly, I don't know. I remember sitting at a stoplight, laughing. It turned green so I started to go. In the middle of the intersection, I heard a piercing scream. I looked over and everything went black. That's all I remember." Tears were falling down my cheeks. He was looking down when he told me, but he finally brought his head up. "Harry," I whispered, noticing his tears. He sat down and I did the same. I held him while he cried, mumbling that everything was his fault.

"Harry, none of this is your fault. You didn't see the truck coming, there was no way you could have stopped it. Stop blaming everything on yourself." I said sternly. He nodded his head and looked up at me. "Thank you." He whispered. "It's no problem. You know, you're kind of a cute crier." I half joked. "So are you." He said seriously. Wait, what?
He started leaning in and I found myself leaning in also. After what seemed like an eternity, our lips finally touched. His lips were so soft. My hands went around his neck while his went to my cheeks. His tongue traced my bottom lip, asking for permission to enter. I gave in and immediately felt his tongue warm my mouth more than I thought possible. He pulled away and smiled. God I love his smile.
"Shelby, I know we don't know each other very well, but, after that, well, I want to know you better. Will you be mine?" He asked.
I was stunned. "Harry, I want to get to know you to. I will be yours, only if that means that your mind as well." I replied
He laughed and kissed me softly. He pulled away and just let our foreheads touch. "Then I guess that makes us a couple."
