What Happened To Us

Ashton's POV

Me and Harry sat in his car talking and catching up when the stoplight turned green. He accelerated and laughed as I told him about my trip to the mall.

"I'm serious! The guy had a monkey and it jumped on me! It was scary!"

I looked out my window and saw the truck coming straight at us. It was too late to warn Harry. I screamed and everything went black.

I heard voices all around me.
"Hurry! Get her on the stretcher!"
"Ma'am, did you see happened?"
I tried to open my eyes, they were just too heavy. What happened? I wondered as I drifted into a deep sleep.

~ at the hospital ~
I tried opening my eyes again but they were so heavy.
"Shelby..." I mumbled. I started to fall asleep again. 'No, I don't wanna sleep' I thought as I drifted off
