The time had come to get ready for prom. It was perfect we all checked into the hotel. Well the boys did. All of the girls had already seen it as we dropped our dresses off earlier. I couldn’t believe we all kept our colours secret. We booked a hair dresser and makeup artist. We were going all out. I was so excited to see everyone’s face when I walked out off my room.
I was the last to come out of my room. All of the boys were in the room waiting. As I stepped out of my room all I heard was silence. Niall had never been speechless before. Everyone was shocked. They all asked me where I got my dress from, but little did they know I made it myself. Niall was the only one who knew I was gonna make it.
It was my master piece.I had been working on the design since I was a little girl. It was v neck, cream, with hints of silver, navy and black sequins, layered shell shapes on top of each other, floor length and had a little trail. Every time I moved it caught the fading sun light and lit the room. I had niall’s tie in my hand I decided to go for a navy tie as it brings out his eyes and the navy in my dress. Niall had brought me a white rose corsage with navy diamonds. I had to get my mum to help him pick one out.
The girls looked amazing and no one had the same colours. Thank god. Would off been a little awkward. Lauren had the most stunning blue/green dress that suited her down to the tee. Eleanor, Danielle and Perrie all had short dresses on, but they had the legs too. So why not show them off.
The boys had chosen the transport. When we walked out off the hotel. There was four vintage cars out the front. The boys had gone all out. Everyone let me and niall have our own car. It was perfect. As we were pulling up the drive the driver stopped and pulled the roof down. I was close to niall and he kissed me on the forehead. We were the last off the people to arrive. We didn’t mind that though. We all wanted to make an entrance. Everyone else got out of the cars. The next thing we heard was Louis on the microphone saying “it is my pleasure to introduce head girl and head boy Katie and Niall.” There was an almighty roar. It was amazing. Niall got out first everyone was shocked at how amazing he looked in a suit. It was my turn to get out. Niall helped me out. I managed to get out without falling over. People were gob smacked. We had our photo taken a million times. It was like we were on the red carpet.
As everyone walked in to the hall, everyone was shocked. We had professional planners in to create this master piece. The room was draped with white cloth, had a massive chandelier hanging from two points in the room, and had a photographer in the room to the side of the hall. The photographer had all these different scenes that we could have our picture taken in front of. It was perfect. The team we hired managed to put fairy lights behind the draped cloth, so when the lights went off it was magical. We all partied the night away. It was time to have the sit down meal. Once we finished the three course meal. Our head of year got up and started to do this massive speach. At the end she said that there was some awards to give out. There was ones for best hair, best smile ect. Then there was one for cutest couple. To our knowledge no one in our group knew anything about it. She then played this video of everyone tonight voting. Everyone got loads off votes and it was a tie. It wasn't until our teaches came up and said who they thought was the cutest. There was then the brightest star like spot light shinning on myself and Niall. Everyone cheered quite loud. Our head teacher came over and gave me and Niall a cream silk sash. It was amazing.
