Bad

Harry's POV:

I wait outside Addie's house for about 20 more minutes before I go to school. I knew I was going to be late, but fuck it, as long as I don't bash those two idiots heads in, school will be fine. I make sure everything around Addie's house is secure before I leave, just to make sure that Beth will be okay without anyone here with her.

I arrive at school after first period, good thing because I did not want to deal with Mandy asking me why I wasn't answering Sky last night, although I know I will hear it coming from both of them soon.

I was on my way to second period when I saw Colton in the hallway, I looked at him until he noticed me. He was talking to some girl from my French class. Colton gave me a slight nod as I walked on. He was always the better of the two.

By lunch I hadn't seen Tate once. My boys had though, unfortunately, they have classes with him. We all sat at our normal table and talk about various things when I hear a piercing voice.

"Harrrrryyyy!" Said Sky.

"Hi," I say.

"You weren't answering my texts last night." She said in a baby voice.

"I was busy." I simply say.

"Too busy for me?" She asks, shaking my shoulder.

"Mhm." I say not paying attention.

"You weren't with that skank, were you?" She says, standing up.

"What skank are you implying?" I say turning to look at her, realizing that everyone at the table is watching, too.

"You know, that little whore, Beth." She says and I stand.

"Beth is not a whore. If anyone here is a skank or a whore, it's you." I say starting to walk away when she grabs my arm.

"But Harry-"

"Sorry sweetheart, you're just not that important to me." I say leaving the lunch room. I'm going to go see if Beth needs anything.

Beth's POV:

I sit at home, alone. I like it, the silence, no one yelling, it's nice. I'm about to watch some movie I found in the living room when Addie texts me.

FROM ADDIE: Harry just roasted Sky in front of everyone. yikes.

Right after I read Addie's text the doorbell rang. I prayed that it wasn't Tate. I don't think he knows I am staying at Addie's, at least, hopefully he doesn't. I walk downstairs and look through the peephole. It's Harry. I debate on whether I want to answer it, the last conversation we had was not, necessarily, great. I decide to open it but I will not act like I want to see him.

I open the door.

"Hi Beth, how are you?" He asks right away.

"Fine," I say.

"Are you sure? Do you need anything?" He asks looking at me intensely.

"Yes. No." I simply answer.

"Okay, well I just wanted to check in on you." He said.

"Thanks, bye." I say and shut the door.
