Bad

Beth's POV:

I walk into the cafeteria to find Addie. I can't believe what just happened.

*15 Minutes Earlier*

I was late leaving history class because I needed some help editing on my recent paper. I left the classroom and started slowly walking down the halls. I haven't felt anything towards Harry today, and he definitely doesn't feel anything towards me.

I stop at my locker to get my lunch when a tall figure appears next to me.

"Beth." The boy says. Wait I know this boy, shit, this is the boy from the party! Tate!

"Tate, right?" I ask trying not to pay much attention to him.

"That's right. So, you must be wondering what I am doing here today." He says closing my locker.

"No, not really. Anyways, nice speaking with you." I said, terrified, trying to end the conversation.

"Well, since you're begging for the answer, I'll tell you. My friend and I recently transferred here." He says gesturing towards the boy flirting with a girl from my free period down the hall.

"And why would you do that?" I ask looking up at him.

"Because I want to get close to you of course." He says. The things that he said to me at the party come rushing back. It wasn't a death threat, but it was still scary.

"W-why would you want to do that?" I stutter.

"Because, one day, I am going to kill Harry Styles, and if I get you first, that will do most of the work for me." He says and now I'm trying not to scream for help.

"And what if I don't want to be close with you?" I ask trying to put on a strong face.

"Then I will do something so bad, that you nor your family would ever be able to recover from." I say and thoughts come rushing through my mind by the hundred.

"Okay, so what do you want me to do then?" I ask.

"I''ll be in touch," He says and begins to walk away calling his flirty friend with him. "Oh, and Beth?"

"Yes?" I say turning back to him.

"I love the colour of your room." He winks at me and walks away.

It takes me a moment to realize what just happened. I am extremely scared for my family and my life. I continue to think of the worst until I get to the cafeteria.

I walk in and see Addie and she sees me and immediately gets up. While I wait I scan the room for Tate and his friend and I see them just sitting down at a table by themselves. My eyes find their way to Harry's and they meet for a brief second before I turn and leave with Addie.

*Present*

I begin to tell Addie everything that just happened but I break down into tears.

"I'm taking you to my house right now. I don't want you staying in your house alone. We'll stop by and grab some things you need for the next couple of days, but from now and until things clear up, you are not going anywhere by yourself." She says taking me to my car.

"I want you to follow me to your house, don't get out until I get to your car door, and then we'll go inside together." She said as I get into my car. Oh, did I mention that Addie's uncle has been a police officer for thirty-five years and he used to play with her when she was little by doing his training. Ridiculous, I know. But look at her now.

"Alright." I simply say and wait so I can follow her.

I need to talk to Harry.
