Beth's POV:

As Harry and I finish our breakfast, I can't help but think about his story and especially Tess. I'm in awe at this story. I can not believe anyone would ever go through something like that but that's exactly what Harry and the other boys did.

"Ready to go?" Harry asks me.

"Where are we going?"

"Well, since we can't go home I was thinking we might go visit Tess." Harry said hesitantly.

"I would love to! Are you sure you want to take me there? Would that be okay?" I ask.

"Of course. Liam's family loves when we bring people to visit and so does Tess. She loves meeting our friends. Even though it's not often that it happens."

"Okay then, sure." I replied.

"It is about a two and a half hour drive to get there so we might want to go back to the motel to grab our stuff."

"Shit! What about school?" I ask frantically.

"C'mon Bethy, you're really worried about school at a time like this?" He jokes. Harry has been calling me Bethy every once and a while since Sky said it in front of him, but I can't help the way it makes me feel when he does.

I have no idea what is going on. I don't like Harry, in that way, but he has been nicer to me than anyone has ever been. All this time I thought he was just doing drugs and sleeping with girls. Maybe he has been, but that is definitely not the side I'm seeing of him now.

"What am I going to do? If my mum finds out I missed school I will be in crazy trouble!" I start pacing, I do not need another problem right now.

"Beth, stop." Harry grabs my arm. "Chill, okay? I can have someone call the school saying it's your mum and that you're sick. But we may even be back by school tomorrow morning so maybe we don't even have to." He says releasing his arm.

"Okay, okay, fine. But only because I want to meet Tess." He smiled.

"Okay let's go." He said as we walked out the door of the pancake house.

We were probably two hours into the drive when Harry started asking me questions about my family.

"So Bethy, now that I have told you all about me, why don't you tell me your story." Harry said.

"Okay, well I am an only child. I had a dog named Daisy when I was little but she was old and my parents told me she went to a farm but I knew where she went." I said. He looked at me and smiled, almost laughed.

"So that's your story?" He asked me.

"Yup." I said looking out the window.

"Let's get this straight," He laughs. "I tell you my whole life story and all I learn from you is that you're an only child and your parents sent your dog to farm when she got old?"

"Yup."

"Please tell me the rest?" He looks at me with his emerald eyes and begs.

"Ugh, fine. Okay well I met Addie when I was around one or two I think. We went to the same daycare and we didn't like anyone else there so we decided to be best friends. I guess that worked out since we are still best friends to this day. Addie had always been the prettier, more athletic, and popular one. But I, I was the smart one." I laughed. "Anyway, my dad left when I was about seven, he got a job in America and wanted me to come with him but I couldn't leave my mum or Addie. So he left. He would send checks on birthdays with a nice card, but they stopped 3 three years ago. I think he married again and even has kids." I pause and felt something wet on my face. I didn't even realize I was crying. "Anyway, everything has pretty much been the same since then."

"Wow. I'm sorry about your dad, Beth." He looks at me with soft eyes.

"It's really fine, my story is nothing compared to yours." I said.

"We're here." Harry says and gets out of the car.
