Coincidental Meeting (A Louis Tomlinson Fanfic)

I continued to walk feeling like shit because I couldn't tell Louis what was wrong. I didn't exactly like to tell people my story. It wasn't easy and about this time I got another text.

Just remember I'm here.

Four little words, five if there wasn't a contraction. I wanted to believe he wouldn't judge me for my past but I knew it was going to be hard for him not to. I should just stop this relationship, well there isn't one yet, but I should just end this now. Louis definitely deserved a lot more than this.

I didn't really know what to do. Should I just tell him everything or just start ignoring him until he got the point that this was something that had to end? I was so confused. I was hoping that this walk home would help me think, and maybe even clear my mind as well.

I was about halfway home when my phone rang. I didn't know the number, usually I wouldn't answer if I don't know the number but for some reason I answered.

"Maria?" I recognized the voice but was not entirely sure who it was.

"Yes?" I said confused.

"It's Liam. I want to apologize for what happened earlier."

Great now Louis would be get more mad because I was talking to Liam but not responding to his text messages. Why do these boys feel the need to keep apologizing?

"It's fine. I am kinda..." he cut me off and started talking again. "Louis is worried about you. I don't know what is wrong but I want to tell you he said you were walking home. He wanted to come after you but didn't want to push." he was talking so quickly it was hard to keep up. "I told them I needed time to think so I was going on a drive. I'm about to leave my apartment now. I know there is no way that you can be home.

I was getting quite annoyed by Liam at this point because I had no idea where he was going with this.
"Just tell me where you are at and I'll take you home. You don't have to talk to me. But this way I can tell Louis that I know you got home safe. Maria? Maria? Are you still there?"

"Yes. Liam it's very nice of you but really I don't mind the walk. "

Next thing I know a car was pulling up slowly and very creepy like.

"Get in." Liam said.

"No. Let me walk. I need time to think."

"My mum always told me never let a woman walk home. I don't know what's going on. If you want to talk I'll listen as a friend but please." he stopped checked to make sure that he wasn't about to hit anything then continued talking. "It's either you get in or I just awkwardly ride by you all the way home. I'm thinking the latter option will be much more annoying."

I thought about it for a minute and decided it was the only way to get rid of Liam.
"Fine. Just don't talk to me."

"Fine by me." he said as he got out to open the door.

"Don't, I got it."

"Okay," he said backing off and getting back in the car.

I got in and did my seat belt something that was becoming a regular thing for me now since Louis. I quickly explained to Liam how to take me home and looked out the window. We arrived at a stoplight and I could hear Liam humming. I chose to ignore it.

"I am really sorry about what happened earlier."

"Stop. No talking."

He sighed but continued talking, "Sorry, but did Louis do something? It's all I want to know."

"No. Not Louis. A meaningless man that will never get my respect back did."

"Oh..."

By this point I think Liam could sense the anger in my voice and decided it would be best to stop talking. Within seven minutes we were at my apartment.
"Please don't go walking. It's dark. If you want to go somewhere please call me."

I nodded and continued to get out the car. I just wanted to be alone.
