Chapter 5
Alyssa’s P.O.V
Wednesday, 22nd April 2015
The drive to Joe’s was longer than usual because there was so much traffic, and probably because I didn’t get much sleep last night. I woke up at 3, and again at 5. I gave up trying to sleep by 7 and got up, getting about 5 hours sleep. Joe can survive on that amount of sleep, I can’t. I’ve got my cameras in my bag, but I haven’t even started vlogging yet. I got the camera out and started to vlog as the traffic slowly moved.
“Hey guys, Alyssa here. I’m currently on my way over to the lad pad, but there’s so much traffic. I am not impressed,” I pulled a grumpy face. “I hope you liked the main channel video that went up yesterday for you guys, if you haven’t checked it out yet it’s a PO box opening video, and I know how much you guys like them so I’ll leave the link below and you can go check it out.” I smiled at the camera. “I haven’t done much today, I had a meeting this morning and now I’m stuck in traffic, which is great. It’s 11.30, and I’m not even halfway there yet. It’s a Saturday for goodness sake,” I continued to make my frustration clear to my viewers. Finally the traffic started to move, and I could actually drive. I got to the boys’ place quickly after that.
“Heeyy, here she is!” Joe said through the phone as I buzzed the intercom thing.
“Traffic is horrible,” I said and he laughed, letting me in. I ran up the stairs and Caspar ran to me.
“I’m joining in on your collabs.” He informed me, like a little boy.
“That’s fine, what are we even doing?” I questioned.
“Youtuber Innuendo Bingo on mine with just me and you, Caspar is doing an exclusive interview with you and whatever you want on yours.” Joe told me and I nodded.
“I need to edit a main channel video and a vlog, and your internet is quicker than mine so I’m gonna upload it here,” I said to him.
“That’s fine, you normally do.” He laughed. I got my laptop out of my bag and sat on their sofa while Joe showed me in his vlog. I need to do that. “She’s stealing our internet at the moment,” Joe said.
“Yours is faster, I’ve told you this,” I replied.
“I’m surprised, this is the first time she’s been round this week, she’s normally living here.” Caspar said. “I ship Jalyssa.” He added, before going downstairs. “You’ve kept them in the dark long enough!” He shouted.
“Oh my god.” I facepalmed and went back to editing, but not before shouting “I ship Jaspar!” loud enough for Caspar to hear. Both him and Joe laughed and Joe turned his camera off. I got up to get mine and showed Joe to the viewers and then we went downstairs to prank Caspar. I guess you could say that Joe and I like pranking people, because I joined the prank war. I only help Joe though, so Caspar never gets me back. Thank god.
“Just pretend to make out,” Joe said, and we both placed our vlog cameras down around his room and he lay down on his bed and I got on top of him. He put his hands on my hips. “Harry’s not gonna have a problem with this right?” Joe asked quietly so the cameras wouldn’t catch it and I shook my head.
“It’s not like we’re actually kissing, and Harry and I are just casual.” I said and we heard Caspar leave his room and I leant in and started moving my head to make it seem like we were kissing.
“What the fuck?” Caspar came in and I hurriedly got off of Joe, trying to make it as realistic as possible. “I knew you two were together!” He said and I got up to get my camera.
“What was that Caspar?” I asked, laughing.
“I hate you two,” He walked out of the room and both Joe and I laughed.
“I don’t know how many times we have to tell you this guys, but Joe and I are not together.” I sat next to him on his bed. He picked up his camera and came back.
“Very true, we’re both seeing people, I promise you that we’re not together and never have been.” Joe clarified to all of his viewers. We both turned our cameras off then and set up to film. We filmed Youtuber Innuendo Bingo first and had a great laugh while we were doing it, but I didn’t think that I might be soaked for Caspar’s and my video. Joe gave me one of his jumpers to wear and I had to explain why I was wearing it before we started the exclusive interview thing.
“Alyssa Katie Hamilton is a British fashion and beauty vlogger and internet personality with over 6.5 million subscribers.” Caspar did the intro bit for when he’s showing my page and it kind of creeped me out. We started doing weird things and then he started asking questions. “Are you ever going to tell your viewers about you and Joe?” He asked me.
“You’re such an ass! Nothing is going on with me and Joe!” I pushed Caspar slightly. He asked some Twitter questions and then we did the outro.
“What are we doing on your channel?” He asked and I thought for a while.
“I actually have no idea. But I’ve got to take this jumper off before people start getting the wrong impression.” I said, taking off Joe’s jumper.
“Joe! Alyssa needs an idea for her video!” Caspar shouted and he came in.
“Just do a Q&A if you can’t think of anything else to do.” He shrugged.
“I’ll do who knows me better,” I thought of an idea.
“That’s not fair! Joe obviously does.” Caspar protested.
“No, it’ll be fine, c’mon,” I put my camera on the tripod and pressed record as we all sat down. “Hey guys, Alyssa here and today I’m joined with Joseph and Casparrrr,” I put my arms around them both. “The reason there’s wet patches on my top is because I did an innuendo bingo with Joe, the link of which will be in the description box, and didn’t think to bring spare clothes. Anyway, this video is going to be a who knows me best type of thing. Assign your buzzer noises.” I turned to the boys and they chose their buzzer sounds.
“Right, let’s start off easy. Who’s my favourite member of my favourite band?” I asked. Caspar got there first.
“Niall from One Direction!” He said, like he’d just got it right and Joe laughed.
“No, it’s definitely Harry mate,” Joe said. I nodded at Joe.
“Sorry Caspar,” I said and asked another question. We did about 10 questions before getting to the last one, which was “What does my little brother call me?” My little brother Freddie is 4, and he calls me Sissa because it’s a mix between sister and Alyssa, and he couldn’t say my name when he was younger and he called me Sissa.
“Ooh I know this!” Caspar said but Joe buzzed quicker.
“Sissa!” Joe shouted and I nodded.
“Sorry Caspar, he just got there before you. Joe wins!”
“I knew this was gonna happen,” Caspar stormed out and Joe and I laughed.
“Right guys, I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did give it a thumbs up, leave a comment and subscribe if you’re new. Don’t forget to check out my videos with Joe and Caspar too, the link will be below! Goodbyeeee,” I ended my video and got up to turn the camera off.
“Caspar! I can’t believe you didn’t get Harry, she’s like dating him right now,” Joe laughed, walking into his room.
“What? When did this happen?” he said and I walked in.
“The 5sos concert, I’ve been on two dates with him,” I said and hugged Caspar. “I’m sorry you lost,” I kissed his cheek.
