Chapter 1
Alyssa’s P.O.V
Saturday, 18th April 2015
“Please like this video, leave a comment and subscribe if you’re new, goodbyeeee,” I finished off my makeup tutorial and got up to turn off my camera. I guess you could say I’m a popular YouTuber; I have 6.5 million subscribers, which is crazy. I started off with a blog and then people told me I should start making YouTube videos, so I did and it just took off. I upload 2 main channel videos a week and I’m a daily vlogger too so I upload vlogs every day on my second channel. I picked up my vlogging camera and then put it down again. I always update my viewers on things that they don’t really need to know. Plus, today’s vlog is going to be long anyway because I’m going to a 5 Seconds of Summer concert later, and I’ll probably vlog a lot of it. I went and got ready and then got a text from Zoe, aka Zoella, telling me her and Alfie were on their way and are going to pick Joe up before coming and getting me. That’s another thing, everyone thinks Joe and I are together, and we like winding them up with flirty tweets to each other or collabs. We’re really good friends, he’s probably my best friend out of all the Youtubers, but we’re definitely not together. He’s more like a brother. Yep, he’s brotherzoned.
I got ready, put my vlog camera in my bag and waited for Zoe to arrive.
From: Zoë: I’m outside x
I smiled and picked up some sunglasses and left my flat, locking the door behind me. I got downstairs and Alfie got out of Zoe’s Mini to let me into the back.
“Hey good-looking,” Joe said as I got into the car.
“Hey,” I smiled at him and gave him a hug.
“This is why people think you’re together,” Zoe pointed out. We both shrugged and I pulled on my seatbelt as Alfie got back in.
“Let’s go rock out with our socks out!” I cheered excitedly.
“You haven’t got any socks on,” Joe joked, being the comedic guy he is.
“Shut up,” I slapped his arm and got my camera out. “Hey guys! Guess who I’m with.” I beamed into the camera. “Well there’s this guy, I’m not really sure who he is…” I said, turning the camera to Joe.
“You love me,” Joe smirked, just to wind up my viewers and then I turned the camera around to Zoe and Alfie.
“And then we’ve got Zalfie, and we’re going to see 5 Seconds of Summer. I’m so excited!” I practically bounced in my seat. I vlogged for a bit longer and then stopped recording, putting my camera back in my bag. Zoe drove us to the arena and we all went in, getting stopped for pictures every couple of minutes. That’s the only problem with coming to these concerts, most our viewers are fans of One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, so we’re guaranteed to bump into some. Everyone else went to see One Direction last year and I was so jealous, I really wanted to go but I was really busy and couldn’t, so we decided to go and see 5sos to make up for it. When we finally got into the arena, Hey Violet were just finishing their set. We went to our seats and kept getting viewers coming over and asking us for pictures until security had enough.
“We’re gonna move you into a box for safety reasons because everyone is trying to get a picture with you and it’s for their and your safety, if you could follow us.” One of the arena security guys came over to us.
“This happened at the One Direction concert too.” Alfie stated and Joe and Zoe nodded, remembering it. We were taken to a box and when we got in their there was one guy. He had blond hair and turned around when we walked in. Holy crap.
“Is that…” I turned to Zoe and she was already standing there, frozen. “Niall Horan?” I whispered and she nodded.
“Sorry about this Niall but they were causing too much commotion in the stands, this is okay right?” The security guy asked him and he nodded.
“Sure, you’re YouTubers right?” He turned to us and the guys replied while Zoe and I stood starstruck. “Fans?” Niall laughed, looking at us.
“Yeah they are, just wait for it, they’ll go back to normal in a minute.” Joe laughed.
“Hi, I’m Alyssa,” I walked over to Niall and shook his hand and Zoe came back and did the same thing.
“I’ve seen you guys on posters and stuff, you have like 8 million subscribers or something don’t you?” He turned to Zoe.
“9, I hit 9 million last week.” Zoe replied. She’s got so many subscribers, I’m really jealous. Niall talked to us for a while about being here to support the guys and then another person walked in.
“Hey Niall, I thought this was just our box?” The one and only Harry Styles said.
“Yeah it was but these guys were causing too much commotion in the stands so security brought them in here, they’re cool.” Niall smiled at us.
“You’re Alyssa Hamilton from YouTube right?” Harry turned to me and I nodded. “I watch your videos when I get bored, you’re really talented.” He smiled.
“You watch my makeup tutorials?” I laughed, finding it hard to believe.
“No, I watch your Q&A’s, vlogs and collabs, they’re always great. I love them.” He said, before hugging me. Oh my god I’m hugging Harry Styles, AND he loves my videos.
“Thanks,” I said, still not believing it as the opening video came on. We all sat down and I turned on my camera to film the 5sos lads coming on. I filmed the majority of the concert, that’s going to need some major editing down. We spoke to the boys throughout the concert and by the time we left the arena, we all had follows from Niall and Harry. Narry/4 will be going in my bio, and I’m not even joking. We got into Zoe’s car and she drove me home. “Thank you for taking me, see you guys soon, I hugged Zoe, Alfie and Joe and went inside. I got changed into my pyjamas and put Narry/4 in my bio. “Hey guys, the concert was amazing, and to make it even better, we were in a box with Niall and Harry from One Direction. They’re super sweet guys and followed us all on Twitter which is cool. I’m going to bed now. I hope you liked this vlog, give me a thumbs up if you did, see you tomorrow!” I waved and turned my camera off. I put it down on the counter and went and got into bed, scrolling through my Twitter feed about my vlog that went up today and then went to sleep. Today was a cool day.
