Undercover

I see one man and shoot, and then another, and shoot. Thank god I put a silencer on my pistol or I’d attract everyone with a gun.
“Katie.” A voice says and I turn around kicking the gun out of the man’s hands
“Who are-” my eyes widen when I see the man’s face “D-dad?” my eyes widen even more
“hey baby girl.” he mumbles stepping closer to me. i can faintly hear the sound of the guys trying to get out of the room, yelling for me to unlock the door.
“You’re dead.” I say not dropping my gun to my side “What is going on?” I ask
“Baby, we are dead. And now..So will you, and we can live in peace, no more fighting, no more guns. A new life.” He says and I look at him and back away slightly
“You’re a liar.” i say softly
“Speak up doll we have no time” He says in a serious tone
“You are a LIAR.” I yell aiming my gun again. I shoot his thigh
“Fuck! what did you do that for Katie!?” He asks falling onto the steps
“Why did you kidnap me?” i ask
His eyes look up at me blankly, I could see through him clearly, he was shocked I knew the truth
“Who told you that?” he asks glaring
“WHY DID YOU DO IT!?” I scream shooting him again in the same thigh
“You don’t know what you are talking about Katie.” He spits out blood my way and I have watery eyes. I hear loud bang and look up the steps to see the boys coming out. Zayn stood tall in front of them.
They all looked SO SO scared once the saw the scene. Two dead bodies. and one man held at gun point
“Tell me the truth!” i say angrily “I’ll kill you. Without blinking an eye DAD you trained me like that didn’t you.” i spit at him
“This is your dad!?” Harry yelps and I glare up at him.
“Shut up. And go to your room.” I say in a deadly voice. “This isn’t me. You guys know me. I don’t want you to hate me.” I say looking directly at Zayn
“Guys go.” Zayn says and they look at him like he is crazy “I trust her. This is her fight.” He says walking off into the room.
“GO!” I yell at them and they leave.
“Katie. You know your mother and I love you.” he says
“Is that why you tourchered me?” i ask “That’s right DAD. i know that it wasn’t training. What type of people cut up a 8 year old to teach her that PAIN is what she needed.” i cry out
“You have it all wrong.” He groans and I step up to him putting my foot on his wound. I apply pressure making him scream out.
“Who am I?” I ask “Why did you kidnap me?” I ask
“Your original name is Maddie Walker” He yells as I step on his wound “You were our leverage.” he says with struggling pants
“Why am I leverage?” i ask
“You’re the child of a very important man..Katie. You were all he had left. And once you were gone-” he laughs “He has been in hiding ever since- probably trying to find you.” he laughs and I smirk
“Now you are an invaluable asset.” I say
“You need me. I made you into this!” he yells
“Exactly. I want you to know...I hate you. So much.” I say “Burn in hell.” i say. I lock the gun and aim it at his head. I shoot him in the head.
Once I do I yelp and back away from him. I fall to my ass and kick back until I hit a wall. I cry, sob and shake.
“Katie!?” I hear Josh’s voice He runs into the room and freezes at the sight around him “Where are the boys Katie?” He asks lifting me off of the floor
“Upstairs. They saw. They saw me Josh. I didn’t mean to” I sob “I was trying to protect them… my dad. I killed him.” I say sobbing and Josh looks at me wide eyed
“You killed him?” he asks softly and I nod crying
“I was just so angry. I didn’t mean to. I didn’t mean to.” I sob.
He wraps his arms around me and holds me tightly as I cry, “It’s okay.” He say “how much of this did the boys see?” he asks
“They saw me holding my dad a gun point.” i say softly “They saw the bodies.” I say
“It’s okay. We will explain this to them...I already called in a clean up team. “ He says softly
“I need Zayn.” I mumble and Josh looks at me funny “I need him right now.” I say running up the stairs to Harry’s room. When i open the door I see all the guys have confused look except for Zayn. he probably tried to explain this to them.
“Are you okay?” Zayn asks immediately checking me out for injuries.
“I’m fine.” I say coldly. I know he is trying to help, but he should hate me.
“Katie. Who the fuck are you?” Harry asks angrily “i don’t know who you are. I don’t know anything about you. WHO THE FUCK are you?” He asks angry and hurt
“I’m Katie. i’m the girl you got to know. This is just the other side…-” i was crying and shaken up from killing four people.. I could barely handle this “I-I’ve never done that.” I say
“Breathe Katie.” Zayn says stepping closer to me. I flinch and back away.
“I did that to protect you all. you have to trust me.” I say
“I DID TRUST YOU.” Harry yells running his fingers through his hair
I flinch and sink down the wall.
“Harry calm the fuck down. She is explaining.” Zayn says angrily
“I can’t be calm right now. She killed those people.” Harry says
“Those people were here to kill you all.”I say glaring at Harry “and that man...My DAD..Abused and tourchered me..for years. And I thought that was just training.” I scream with a sob “I don’t feel guilty because I saved your lives. And I got my answers” I cry
“What do you mean?” Zayn asks “Tourchered.”
“I’m going to show you guys something..and maybe then you will understand” I say. I take off my shirt and everyone deverts their eyes almost instantly.
“Why did you take your shirt off?” Niall mumbles
“I’m in a bra. you’ll be fine. i didn’t put makeup on my scars. So now you can see them.” I say
They slowly turn to face me and their eyes travel all over my body. Scars from the blades I was trained with.
“Oh my god. he..He did that?” Liam asks softly
“yes! And I thought it was okay!” I cry “ i was 8 years old.” i say
“Okay I understand now.” harry says tears in his eyes.
“You never will Harry. I’m not the person you just saw down stairs.” i say
I hear the footsteps in front of my door and I lock and load my gun out of reflex. The door opens and Josh freezes. He put his hands up and the gun remains shaking in my hands.
“Katie it’s just me.” he says stepping up to me disarming me slowly. When he pulls m into his arm I was a mess. I cried. And cried.
“Shh. It’s okay baby. You did what you had to do.” he says pulling a sweater onto my small body
“Why cry when you had a choice?” Harry asks confused
“Harry shut the fuck up. She had no choice. It was let you all die or kill them.” Josh snaps
“I need to go.” I say “ I need to leave.” I say pushing Josh away.
“you can’t. not now.” Josh says frantically
“I need to get away. Mom will know. She will come and kill me without batting an eyelash or breaking one of her nails.” I say softly
“She isn’t your mom!” Josh says “She is the lady who kidnapped you. And she is the enemy. Okay?” He says softly “
I lean against the wall again and look up at the ceiling.
“Zayn. Quick question. How the fuck did you know about us?” josh asks suddenly standing up and advancing towards Zayn who looks caught off guard
“I told him.” I say softly
Everyone’ attention snaps to me with wide eyes
“you...Why would you tell him before you told me?” harry asks hurt. I understand his hurt. I’ve been hiding this from him for a long time and He has gotten almost as close as me.
“Zayn found my guns and blades. I made him promise not to tell a soul. I only told him because it was 100% necessary.”i say in a professional tone “I got to close. That is my fault.” i say
“Katie. That’s why we brought you here. To get close with people! You’ve had one hell of a life.” josh says.
And then I remember something. Josh knows something...Somehow he knew where I was. And my parents aren’t dead so they were technically lying to me this whole time.
My eyes turn into slits and I go back into my fighting mode.
“Sit down.” i say standing up “I need answers.” I say
“What are you talking about?” Josh asks swallowing
I walk over to my bedside and grab a gun loading it slowly in front of him
“Katie. What the fuck are you doing?” Harry snaps and I shrug
“Getting answers. Josh you’ve been caught in a very big lie. I just want the truth. I wont use this gun unless you tell me.” I say putting the gun by my side.
“Katie-” Liam tries to step in.
“You guys.” I turn and face them “Have no idea what is going on. You have probably never even shot a gun. I know what I’m doing. And Josh knows what he is doing. He also knows what I was trained to do.” I snap “So bud out or leave.” I add angrily
I turn back to face Josh and lock my gun.
“Now..About those answers.” I say softly sitting down in front of him
