The One in the Crowd

The day of the proposal, Alyssa and Niall's family and friends spent the rest of the night together celebrating the happy couple's engagement. Alyssa was concerned about how well their families would get along, but her worries quickly ceased when she saw their parents smiling and laughing at their cousins playing together having a great time.

Niall took her around and introduced her to the rest of his family and she introduced him to all of hers. It was a great celebration and they all decided to stay in Italy for one more night before going back to Florida and Ireland.

The next day, the two families said goodbye and this time Alyssa and Niall went to Ireland with his family and friends to spend some time in Niall's hometown. She spent a few months there and during that time, they planned the most beautiful and romantic wedding for themselves that they could think of.

They decided they would have the wedding on the same beach in Italy where Niall proposed and to honeymoon in the city of love, Paris. They sent out the wedding invitations and reserved the reception hall, decided on the cake and dinner, and got their minister for the ceremony.

They also decided Greg would be Niall's best man, Louis, Zayn, Harry, and Liam would be his groomsmen, and Denise would be Alyssa's maid of honor with Eleanor, Perrie, Sophia, and her best friend she met at college, Angela, as her bridesmaids.

In the end, the wedding ceremony setup looked like this, the reception hall looked like this, the wedding cake looked like this, Alyssa's wedding dress looked like this, and their wedding music was partly a DJ, and partly Niall's favorite band Westlife.

For the ceremony, they decided to write their own vows to each other. Both vows were so beautiful and heart felt that everyone cried including them. The reception was one big party, but Alyssa kept an eye on Niall to make sure he didn't get too drunk.

It was time for their first dance as husband and wife and all Alyssa knew was that Westlife was singing it. She didn't know what song of theirs it would be. After a little bit, the music starts and they start dancing. Throughout the song, she listens to the lyrics and starts crying in his embrace when she hears how sweet the song is, his message to her. The song was Beautiful in White.

A week after the wedding, the newlyweds went to Paris, France for their honeymoon. They stayed there for as long as their Italy holiday and then the time came for them to make a pretty big decision...where should they live together? Were they going to buy a home in Florida with Alyssa's family, Ireland with Niall's family, or even London with the other lads and their girls?

They discussed it a lot and knew that neither family would be happy if one got to see both of them all the time and the other didn't. So, it only seemed logical that they decided not to live in the same country as one of their families, but instead lived in London with the other lads and their girlfriends. They broke the news to both of their families, but they planned out specific times when they would come back and visit both places and everyone was happy with it.

The couple found a gorgeous mansion that was in the same neighborhood as the other 1D couples that looked like this. They had been living there for six months and married for a year when Alyssa got pregnant with their first child who nine months later, was born and turned out to be a beautiful baby girl named Lucy Marie Horan.

It was interesting when she started learning to talk, because she was around her mom who was American, her father who was Irish, and the 1D lads and their girlfriends who were English so she talks with a mix of all three different accents.

Once Alyssa was in a position where she could leave Lucy with Niall, she got a job at the local elementary school as the kindergarten teacher. Niall made enough money from One Direction that he didn't have to work anymore and with that money and Alyssa's teacher salary combined, they would be able to support themselves and their little girl.

As Lucy grows up, it's clear that she wants to follow in daddy's footsteps and be a singer. Alyssa claims she gets all of her talent from Niall, but he insists that she gets it from both of them.

Once Lucy is about five years old, they decide to start early at teaching her guitar. She's a natural from the start and by the time she hits her sixth birthday, she knows how to play a few songs and they get her her very own guitar for her big present.

Throughout Lucy's life, she goes through school, learns guitar very well, and by the time she's out of high school, she begs Niall to let her sing for Syco. Alyssa however, is a little hesitant.

"The business is really tough...I'm not sure if she can handle rejection."

"She'll be fine, love. Don't worry. And Uncle Si will love her, I know it." he assures her.

"If you're sure. I trust your judgment." she says with a smile.

So in the end, Lucy got permission to sing for Syco. She was pretty nervous, but she did great and Uncle Si definitely took a liking to her right away.

Overall, Alyssa can't complain. She has a great husband who's a very caring father, and a beautiful, talented, intelligent daughter who is about to get her big break in the music business. She started out with nothing, and ended up with more than she could have ever dreamed of.

Looking back on the earlier part of her life...the smoking, the cutting, and almost killing herself because Niall left her...now she can't believe that she was about to end her life all those years ago and everything she would have missed out on if she followed through with it. But because she didn't, she has that much more to be thankful for at the end of the day.

And the biggest thing that she has to be thankful for in her life is that at the One Direction concert in 2014, she was actually the one Niall noticed and who caught his eye. She was the one in the crowd.

I don't have any more stories to post. I'm due to write a Liam story since he is the only one I haven't done yet and I've written the first few chapters already, but I probably won't be finished and posting it until sometime this summer (hopefully!) because I'm quite the busy bee right now.

Anyway, even though I won't be posting for at least a few months, I'll still be coming on to check in on the 5 stories I have on here for comments and for messages. So feel free to do both on however many stories/chapters you choose! I won't be annoyed, I promise. :)
