What Goes Around Comes Back Around

Very smooth and also super safe

Rose had been sobbing all the way down to the hotel. I had tried to get a sensible word out of her, but I couldn’t understand. Where was Willow when you needed her? I really needed to talk to her, she had left me confused, frustrated and above all I was just pissed off with her right now.

Rose opened her hotel room letting herself in, she left the door open and I followed without her even asking. I had to see if Willow wasn’t there, otherwise I would have to chase down town all night.

‘thanks Luke’ Rose spoke drying her eyes

‘no problem sweetie’ I cooed back, I wandered towards Willow’s room, her door was half opened and I looked inside. No-one there, I sighed deeply yet frustrated.

‘she’s probably in the park’ Rose spoke still standing in the living room not knowing what to do ‘do you want anything to drink?’

‘nah, I’m fine’ I shook my head ‘what happened to you?’ I might have an idea, but I could be wrong too. Rose hesitated for a moment and dropped herself on the couch as if in defeat.

‘do you think she will leave us?’ Rose asked and I could see the tears well up in her eyes again

‘ssshhh, I hope not. I’ve been trying to get her to change her mind’ I shushed and sat down beside Rose, rubbing her arm gently.

‘I don’t want her to go’ Rose’s tears had started to stream down her cheeks again. She fell back into my chest and as if I was a hopeless little kitten not knowing what to do or how to act. My senses came back and I wrapped my arms around Rose as her body shook within my touch ‘ssshhh, it’s alright, hopefully she won’t go’

‘Luke you know she will go even if she says she doesn’t know yet, it’s an opportunity for a lifetime and she’ll regret it’

‘I don’t think she would forgive either of us if we would forbid her’ I said and it was true ‘will you be alright on your own?’

‘yeah go’ Rose nodded, sitting back up

‘I have to go find her’ I stood up and headed out of the door.

Seeing Rose this upset wasn’t healthy, she was going to lose her best friend and I was going to lose someone I cared for a lot. Calum should have been there to sooth Rose and let her calm down, but no instead he just finds the first random girl and starts to snog off her face.

I waited for the elevator and as it opened Calum stumbled out with the unknown blonde from earlier. Though she wasn’t an unknown blonde anymore, the familiar face and the shock were written across my face.

‘Luke man, had a nice ride with my girl’ Calum slurred out his words

‘think about your actions twice man, I have to go find Willow. I don’t have enough time to deal with your stupidity’ I pushed the both of them out of the elevator and pressed the button to go down to the lobby.

As I walked out of the hotel I searched the streets carefully. I pulled out my phone and started to call Willow time after time. Each time it would ring until it hit voicemail, where was she? My frustration turned into worry and a lot of worry.

I spotted flashing cameras in the distance and decided to take another route towards the park. Rose had said she probably be at the park anyway. I would start there. If she wouldn’t be there, I would go to the beach; we had a nice time there days ago, before John forbid us to cause mayhem.

I crossed the road and walked towards the park. I put my hands in my pocket as they became cold. It was a cold night tonight, my eyes scanned every surface and as far as the dark allowed me too. I headed towards the playground, Willow had loved the swing set, it sounds so childish, but she enjoyed it. The freedom you get from being disconnected with the ground.

‘Wills, please, where are you?’ I spoke loudly through the silent park. No response and she was probably not here.

My eyes scanned the surface a little bit more when they hit an odd lump on a bench. I moved closer lowly, it could be a homeless person as well…who knows. I quickly started to recognize the outfit and colours; she fell asleep on a bench in a park. Smooth Willow, very smooth and also super safe.

‘let’s get you back’ I whispered softly and picked her up. Her weightless body in my arms, the innocence and peacefulness radiating off of her.

I carried her back to the hotel and brought her back to my room. I placed her onto the bed and took off her shoes. I placed the covers over her cold body and got changed myself. I crawled in next to her automatically pulling her body close to me so I could warm her up. She shifted uncomfortably for a second, before giving in to my arms being wrapped around her.
