Fanfic Plot Holes and Dumb Moments

Mmmmk here we go. This one goes out to all those fanfics that leave me yelling YOU FREAKING IDIOT. So many things could be prevented in fanfictions will some common sense. The example I'm focusing on here is leaving the girl alone with one boy who is very abusive and obviously mentally disturbed.

You always know a vicious attack is coming when these things happen:
•she is left alone with Harry(Harry always seems to be the most mentally disturbed)
•someone promises they will never hurt her(but really who keeps promises anymore)
•someone says they will protect her from everything(Except of course people that are actually dangerous.

The boy in love with the obnoxious girl as I like to call her is always so protective. He's protective of thunderstorms, animals, the dark, nightmares, and sometimes people the girl knows outside of him. However anything that could actually cause harm to her, suddenly he seems to forget that.

(there are exceptions to this)

I swear 97% of stories have a boy promising to protect her, and then they freaking leave her with the psycho murderer/rapist. Seems like a legit plan.

Its not like they forgot their promise either. The OG is yelling out to them DONT FREAKING LEAVE ME WITH THIS PSYCHO. Apparently there is selective deafness.

It's all good. OG will forgive psycho boy for attacking her within 2 chapters. I mean really who holds grudges like that anymore. EMBRACE YOUR ALMOST MURDERER

There are also the ones that have the boy being too protective:

Cousin of OG:" Hey OG!"

1D Boy: *shoots boy

OG: "WHAT THE HECK!"

1D:" No boy will look at you and live."

OG: "aw you do care"

Sweetie. Get out of there. I hope real people have the common knowledge that that is not cute. You make my head hurt because you are so IGNORANT. Seriously tell me how you even survived this far.

In conclusion dont shoot you significant other's cousin, and don't leave them alone with psychos. Mmmk?
