You & I

I yawned, then glanced over at Liss's bed. It was empty, but neatly made with the pillows propped up against the bed frame. I smiled. At least I don't have a messy roommate. I got up, did my makeup and hair, then went to the closet to find the outfit I made last night before going to bed.

I put it on, then headed to our small kitchen. Liss was sitting at the table, staring tiredly at her computer screen. She looked like she stayed up all night. (A/N Lol) "Hey are you alright? You look tired as hell." She laughed, then took the cup of tea I handed her before shutting her laptop. "I'm fine. And thanks." I gestured to her laptop. "What were you doing?"

"Nothing." She said too quickly. I gasped "Were you," I lowered my voice. "Looking at porn?" She looked shocked, and I laughed. She joined in on my laughter. "Ew! No! I was looking at the tickets for the concert." "Oh, so when are we going?" She looked away. "It depends...On which one we're going to." I put down my tea loudly. "You mean you haven't even gotten them yet?" She started biting her nails.

"Well...They kinds got lost when my dad tried sending them here" I sighed. "Okay well, I'm sure they'll find them. If they can't we'll just buy new ones." I made it sound simple, but she knew it wasn't. But she nodded anyways.

"Thanks." I touched her shoulder before heading out the door, calling behind me that I'll be back around five or six.

I decided to wander around for awhile, get to know this place. If I got lost, I could call Liss. She gave me her number yesterday when I got done unpacking. I was just about to walk across the street when a car almost hit me, and a hand grabbed my coat and pulled me back on the sidewalk. A guy a couple of years older than me stuck his head out of the window and apologized. "My name's Tesse by the way." He said before driving away.

"Are you alright love?" A soft voice said from behind me. He was wearing a hat, sunglasses that covered his green eyes, and a scarf. I knew the look, and I most definitely knew the eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine" I mumbled before crossing the street. He caught up to me without much effort. "Are you sure love? You seemed frightened." I turned back around once we were on the sidewalk again.

"I'm fine, really. And you should go before I blow your cover." I looked up to see his reaction. He was surprised and I almost laughed at his expression. I shook my head, then started walking again. "How'd you know it was me?" He asked, still following me. I laughed. "Who wouldn't know it was you?" He didn't say anything for awhile. "You're different. You didn't scream or shout my name You didn't even react."

I sighed. I don't even like the damn guy. "Sorry to disappoint you." I said lamely I walked for another fifteen minutes or so, and when I thought he was gone, he spoke up again. "What's your name love?"

I turned around so fast that he stumbled backwards "Are you trying to irritate me to death? Since Jesse's car didn't do the job?" He stepped closer to me until our faces were inches apart. "No love, just asking a simple question." His voice was like silk. I stepped back and turned around. "Via. Short for Olivia." A smile formed on my face, one that I couldn't brush away.
