Awakening (Chapter 22)
(Harry P.O.V)
“Harry? Tasman dear is that you?” A fragile weak voice snap’s Tasman and I both out of our thoughts as we turned around to see my mums eyes open weakly.
OMG…my mum is awake…omg…my mum is awake…. I can’t believe it…
“My mum is awake Tass…Oh My God…Tass she really has woken up…” I yelled with happiness but not too loudly as I pick Tasman up and spin her around in cycles which only bring out giggling from her beautiful mouth. “Harry put me down…we need to actually check your mum first,” she laughs which I smile at her statement and put her down.
“Mum…omg…I love you soo much mum…this is the happiest day of my life,” I say to her as I kiss her cheeks while Tasman stands next to me, “oh Harry…I have missed you so much love…I love you dear…” she told me sweetly with a weak smile plastered on her face.
“Um….I will give you guys one on one time to catch up,” Tasman said shyly with a genuine smile on her face, I know she is very happy to witness my mum awakening moment and I know she is Happy for me.
“No…there’s no need dear…I want you to stay,” my mum told her which made Tasman smile ever wider, “I am Ann and you are way more beautiful than how Harry has described you,” my mum complimented her which made her blush, I myself starting to feel embarrass, “also what a beautiful name…Tasman...a beautiful name for a beautiful girl,” my mum adds and the redness of Tasman’s face right now is indescribable.
Wait how did my mum know Tasman’s name? I never told her…well I have told her while she was unconscious….and how did she knows I have describe Tasman? I am really confused now….
“Thank you Ann, it’s wonderful to finally know your name and Ann is gorgeous name for a gorgeous strong woman,” Tasman complimented her back, “I knew I would love this girl from the first time I heard her voice,” my mum replied smiling widely.
First time heard her voice? What? Like….did she means just then?
“Mum…I am going to get the doctors while you stay here and talk with Tass alright?” I asked which they both give me a grin in reply, “take all the time you want love…I have to talk to this beautiful future daughter in-law of mine,” my mum state as I was about to open the door, “mum…..,” I wine with embarrassment which made them both laughed.
Future daughter in-law? What? I haven’t admit to Tasman that I like her or love her….let alone Marry her…that’s a really long way in the distance….gosh I forget how embarrassing my mum can be….but I love her with all my heart….
The doctor told me that my mum was fine, she actually remembered everything except for the incident and the doctor told us that this was like a miracle because coma was supposed to last a lot longer. The doctors don’t know the cause for her to wake up earlier than expected but they were genuinely happy that she did and they also don’t understand how my mum knows Tasman’s name even though she have never met her before. Many questions are unanswered from my mum unexpected awakening but no one is complaining.
My mum and I agree not to notify my dad about her waking up, for him not knowing benefits the both of us. Still being under the age of eighteen, I was not allowed to rent my own apartment so I decided to take upon Mr Lee’s offer and Let my mum stay at his shop until I can rent my own place. My mum agrees to work for free while she stays in Mr Lee’s coffee shop.
Everything is according to plan so far… which I am thankful…
**Sunday Morning**
(Tasman P.O.V)
“Tass mum said to wake up…it’s already seven thirty and Andy is here asking for you,” my brother’s scream woke me up from my dream as he pulls the amazingly warm blanket away from, “I don’t have work today and tell Andy to come back later,” I wined.
Wait Andy? Andy…Friday…his birthday….omg…I totally forgot…
I jolted up quickly once I realized that I have forgotten Andy’s birthday, he is probably going to kill me. I haven’t told my parents about Ann's miracle awakening so probably they think I still have work today. Since Ann is awake now I don’t have to work on the weekends and Sarah told me that volunteering on weekdays is more than enough.
I quickly rushed to the bath room to wash my face and brush my teeth and I don’t both to change since it was just Andy. He has seen me in my PJ’s more than I can count and I am not embarrass in front of him. I headed down stairs to find him talking to my mum again, once I approach them my mum gave me the disappointed look and straight away I knew Andy has told her about me not going to his birthday.
What a douche….he is using my mum against me….
“Morning to you both,” I chirped, trying to act oblivious to what is going on, “don’t morning me young lady…Andy told me you didn’t turned up to his birthday on Friday,” my mum said sternly.
See what did I tell you? Douche will always be a douche….don’t get me wrong, I do feel bad for forgetting his birthday but he freaken lied to me and maybe that’s another reason why I forgot his little party…
“I didn’t turn up because I didn’t want to go….I know it will just be teenagers getting drunk and wasted…” I replied bluntly, “honey it was Andy’s birthday…it wasn’t just any party…” my mum’s tone is getting harsher by the minute, “well I am sorry mum…I don’t want to go to associate with liars…Happy Birthday Andy,” I told her and walked off to get my breakfast in the kitchen.
“Tass can I talk to you?” Andy called out after me, I didn’t answer but now he is sitting down on the dinner table with me, “what are you talking about me being a liar?” he asks acting like he doesn’t know what I was talking about. Gosh, I didn’t even know how I put up with him all these years, “are you freaken kidding me? You freaken lied to me about apologising to Harry…” I spat.
“Why do you care so much about the MUTE boy huh? He really has fucked you already hasn’t he….that’s why you are so attached to him…gosh I don’t know what you see in him Tass…” he accused shaking his head in in disappointed.

“GET OUT OF MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW…Keep your FUCKING disgusting thoughts to YOURSELF….you being here just ruin my APPETITE…” I got up on my chair and screamed at his face.
