I wasn’t quite sure why I decided to invite Ally with me to go to Selena’s hotel room for lunch, but I hope it will be an okay experience for all of us. I mean, I didn’t want to be rude to Selena and tell her I couldn’t come. But at the same time, I didn’t want to even dare myself to be mean to Ally and tell her she had to leave.

So I compromised with my self and decided it would all be okay. Selena just texted me, asking where I was and when I would be there. I just simply told her I’d be there in about ten minutes. No reply, but I knew she had seen it.

At the moment, I was on my way to some location, I wasn’t quite sure where though. Ally had texted me the address and I told the taxi driver. So now, I’m sitting on the back of a taxi cab, staring out the window at the city in the dead of noon. The sun high in the sky, the clouds huge and puffy.

New Orleans was very historical and I planned to explore the history soon, but I wasn’t sure when though. I was only in New Orleans at the moment because I knew I would find a nice club and probably a nice girl, in which I did. I just didn’t turn out the way I thought it would.

The guys and I are on a break. This meaning that the entire band was on a pause. We weren’t sure for how long, for what certain reasons, or even what we could do about it. But we all knew that it would soon start up again, hopefully sometime in the near future.

Selena, however, was in New Orleans because she was part of some charity show thing, quite a few more artists were in town to. They played the Super Dome, which me and the guys hit up last September and it was an amazing experience and the fans were completely incredible, like always.

She wasn’t planning on staying long. Neither was I, at first. But now it seems as if I might never leave this place. I’m afraid Ally doesn’t want to be anything with me, not even friends. I bet she only things I want her for the sex, or for the kissing, or whatever.

But that’s not true.

Ally’s an amazing girl, she’s sweet and kind. And when she’s drunk, she’s wild and crazy. And I like that about her, a lot. I understand her wanting to get to know me more. I want to know every little detail about her and her life. But I only knew that would come soon because she never struck me as the type of girl who’d go around with guys for the fun of it.

She wanted to make something out of us. And well Hell, so did I. I wanted whatever I could get. A friendship, a love affair, a secret affair, anything that was possible. I will take whatever I can get, no matter what. As long as it involves her, I’ll be completely happy.

The taxi pulls into a neighborhood. The houses are all so different from each other. Some one story, others two and some even three. There were kids playing in the yards and riding bicycles and such down the sidewalks. It had me thinking, perhaps this is where Ally lives? I’ll find out, I guess.

The driver slows down as we approach a nice sized, good looking two story house. There was a silver Ford truck and a black Mustang parked in the driveway. I saw a woman on the front porch with a little boy, maybe two years old? The boy was playing with two puppies on the steps.

‘’Alright, Sir. Here we are. Do you need me to wait on you?’’ He asks me as he looks in the rear view mirror at me. ‘’Um, no thank you.’’ I say and he nods. I hand him a twenty, he had previously told me the cost. He nods as he realizes he got a little tip, not much but enough to make any one happy.

I open the door and step out of the car. The woman stands from the swing and grabs the little boy’s hand and pulls him to her from the steps. I gulp gently as I shut the door. The driver soon pulling away and heading back to the exit of the neighborhood.

The woman, who I soon see is younger than I had first thought, smiles kindly as I walk up the drive way. ‘’Are you Harry?’’ She asks me, her voice was gentle and smooth. I could tell she was a free hearted person and was very kind.

‘’Yes, Mam..’’ I nod lightly. The woman was about twenty seven or so. I wasn’t quite sure at the moment, though. ‘’Alison’s getting ready.. she should be out soon.’’ She smiles as she motions me to join her on the porch. So kindly taking her offer, I do.

I step up the four steps to the porch and I sit in a chair as she returns to the swing like before. The little boy smiles as he looks at me. I think I was a year or so, he looked double the age I thought he was. I smile back before he continues to play with the white and black puppies.

‘’I’m Alison’s sister in law, by the way. I’m Kelly.’’ She smiles gently at me. ‘’Nice to meet you, Kelly. Is this your son?’’ I ask, pointing to the little boy on the steps. She nods slightly. ‘’Yes, his name’s Scottie.’’ She tells me. ‘’He’s quite cute, actually.’’ I smile gently as I look at the boy’s features.

He had blue eyes, they were just like Ally’s, dark hair. His mother though had dark blonde hair, so I assume I now who is father is. And I also assume I was correct last night about the guy, he probably is Ally’s brother. The little boy was very cute, and he seemed so kind.

‘’Hey, Kelly have you seen my wallet?’’ The screen door opens with a voice following it. ‘’Um, I don’t think so. Oh, um is Ally almost done?’’ Kelly says to the voice. That’s when a pair of blue eyes caught a glimpse of me. ‘’Who’s this?’’ He asks as he steps onto the porch, shutting the door behind him.

‘’This is Harry, remember.. Ally told us about him earlier when she came home.’’ Kelly tells him. ‘’Harry.. the boy from last night, right?’’ He asks her. She nods again and the guy looks at me. ‘’Josh Ross.’’ He says, holding his hand out to me. I stand up and grab it, shaking it. ‘’Harry Styles.’’ I reply and he nods as he lets go of my hand.

‘’So, are you and my sister.. together, or just friends?’’ Josh asks me as I sit back down. He sits in the other chair, a small table between us. ‘’Um, we’re friends..’’ I mumble my reply. He nods again as he sighs gently. ‘’My sister means a lot me.. and I hope you understand that.’’ He says suddenly.

I gulp gently. I knew this would probably come up in this short conversation eventually, but never this soon. But I man up and reply, knowing that’s its best to gain his trust early. ‘’I understand. I’ll never disrespect her any way.’’ I assure him.

‘’Take care of her.. even if you are just a friend. She’s been through a lot, and she deserves… a moment of happiness.’’ He says with a gentle sigh at the end. ‘’I’ll make sure she gets the happiness. I’ll be a good friend.’’ I tell him.

He glances over at me, I see from the corner of my eye. But he looks again, this time gazing at me. I look over at him, not wanting to think I don’t see or respect him as a person. ‘’If you hurt her.. I will hurt you. But I trust you.’’ He mumbles.

‘’I promise I won’t hurt her.. you have my word for it.’’ I mumble back. He nods just as the door opens again. ‘’Harry!’’ I hear that beautiful voice of Ally’s and I smile as I stand up to hug her. She engulfs me quickly, her arms around my torso as she squeezes me tight. My arms were around her back, holding her tight against me.

She releases me and I release her. ‘’Sorry if I took forever.’’ She sighs with a smile. ‘’No, it was a pleasure to wait.’’ I whisper back and she smiles, blushing like crazy. ‘’Well, Harry it was nice to meet you. I’m sure it won’t be the last time.’’ Kelly says as I look over at her.

‘’You to, and hopefully not.’’ I smile gently. ‘’Remember what we promised, Styles.’’ Josh says and I nod to him, he nods in return. A sign that he trusts me, and he believes in me. I will keep my promise. I will keep it until the end, and even afterwards.

All I want to do is be with Ally, and be happy. No matter our status, or our positions, or anything. I need her to know that I’m here, no matter what God throws our way. No matter what the world gives us. I’m here, and she should always remember that.
