I get a text. I sigh, not in the mood to look at my phone right now. Ally’s hand falls from my back as I lean up and reach for my phone.

I open the message once I know it’s a person that won’t spike my anger up any more than it already is.

Selena: Hey, you busy? I’m starving for lunch?!

Me: Sorta, but I guess we can come with ya

Selena: We?????

Me: I have a friend..

Selena: Oooh! Harry! I’m gonna tell your mommy! Ha.

Me: Lol, go ahead.. anyways, she’s a nice girl..

Selena: She was your hook up last night, wasn’t she?

Me: Yep.. but that’s perfectly okay Sel, she’s wonderful..

Selena: okay, I’ll get the food, come to my hotel.

Me: Okay, get some chicken

Selena: Shut up, idiot..

I put my phone down once the conversation is dead. Ally looks at me, her lips rolled in. She looks almost afraid to say anything.

‘’Hey.. do you.. um.. are you busy.. or I mean, do you have anything.. to do.. in an hour or so?’’ I ask nervously, afraid myself. ‘’No..’’ She shakes her head lightly.

‘’Okay, I was thinking we can go to my friend’s hotel room. She’s gonna get us lunch, that okay?’’ I ask, raising my eyebrows. ‘’Yeah.. that’s.. fine.’’ She mumbles before looking down at her feet.

‘’Can I go to.. my hotel? I need to change.’’ She says lightly as she walks over to me. ‘’Yeah, sure. I’ll pick you up.. You need a ride? Or a taxi, or-‘’ She stops me with a cute smile and a giggle.

‘’I can get my brother to come get me..’’ she smiles lightly before reaching her hand up towards my face, placing it on my cheek.

‘’Harry.. we need to.. talk.. about ourselves.’’ She whispers. ‘’What.. do you mean?” I ask, confused some. “We.. we’re moving too fast.. All you know about me is my name.’’ She tells me, her hand falling from my faceI grab her wrist, sliding her hand into mine.

‘’We can do that.. soon, I promise.. I put.. I put my number in your phone last night.’’ I mumble, admitting it to her. ‘’Okay, I’ll call you when I’m ready.’’ She whispers as she motions me to lean down, so I do. She gives me a peck on the corner of my mouth. I give her one in return, same place as mine.

‘’Don’t take too long, love.’’ I joke. ‘’I won’t.’’ She says as she walks past me after getting her things from the couch. I had lied them there so she wouldn’t forget anything.

She walks out the hotel room, silently and quietly. I smile lightly as I lean against the counter, touching my cheek with my fingertips.

‘’I don’t know what the hell she does to me.. or why… but I fucking love it.’’ I whisper to myself as I smirk at the touch of my cheek, her soft hand was just there moments ago.

Damn, I love it.. I love her. I’m in love. Is this really what loves feels like?

Like nothing in the world can tear you away?

No matter the distance, I still feel the same?

Just because I only know so little, I feel like I know so much about her?

Is this love?

Or am I in an illusion?

Am I tricking myself into thinking I’m in love?

No…
