IMPRINT

"So...tour starts tomorrow!" My mom says as everyone sits down for a meal of lasagna and garlic bread. "Who's excited?"

"Me!" Michael yells from the kitchen as he helps himself to his second serving.

"Me too." Louis says, smiling at Mum (I've picked up the name from the guys). "It's nice to be touring with these lads again."

"Well, I'm happy we've gotten to meet you lovely ladies." Harry adds. "So far, this has been absolutely incredible."

"Indeed." Liam adds.

"I'm also glad I've gotten to meet you guys." I comment, smirking in Luke's direction. I was once again playing the game I had been play all day. "So far, it's been amazing!"

Only Luke knew the truly amazing part.

"A toast to an bloody awesome tour!" Ashton states, raising his glass.

Everyone else raises their glasses in agreement, including myself.

After dinner, I found myself wandering back to my room for bed. I put on the same pajamas I wore last night (why waste?) and put my hair in a sloppy ponytail.

I sat on my bed and started to play on my phone. I glance up as Luke scoops up some clothes and walks into the bathroom. I hear water begin to run, so I assume he's showering.


You can imagine the thoughts I was having.

About 15 minutes later, Luke emerges from bathroom with flat hair and wearing his smiley face t-shirt. He throws his dirty clothes to the side and sits down on his bed.

I look over at Luke, who was once again on his phone. The memory if what I said comes rushing to me, and I decide to make a move.

I set my phone down and tip-toe over to Luke's bed. I push his phone out of the way and sit down on his lap.

"Like I said earlier, I could kiss you again." I say with a playful smile. "Is now a good time?"

His response was more than I could hope for. He pressed his lips to mine, and I could tell that this wasn't just the aftermath of a drunk mistake.

We were supposed to be like this.

Our lips began to move in sync as I turned so that I was straddling him. His hands find my waist has my fingers begin to tangle is fluffy hair.

I pull gently at his lip ring with my teeth, and I can feel him smiling on my lips.

We continue to kiss until we both feel the need to break away. We look at each other with a look of mixed shock and pleasure.

"I think something's up between us," Luke comments, smiling a bit.

"No shit." I reply, smiling in return.

"Well, whatever it is, I'm not complaining." He leers.

"Nor am I, even though this might not be approved of by the law." I respond.

"Not unless I imprinted."

I tense up as he speaks the words.

"What?" He asks, looking seriously concerned.

"That word, it sort of found a way of terrifying me." I answer, sighing.

"What, imprinting?" He asks as I tense up again.

"Yeah," I reply, "and don't ask why."

"Well, we can say you had nightmare about it." Luke comments. "It's a great excuse for sharing a bed tonight."

"You want to stay here tonight?" I ask.

"I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't mean it." He replies coolly.

"Are you gonna try and take me to third base or something?" I wonder aloud.

He laughs. "No, I just wanna cuddle."

"Then I'm fine with staying."

Luke reaches over and turns off the light. I climb off his lap and we both lie down next to each other. He wraps his arms around my waist as we lie in silence for a few moments.

"This is nice." I comment. "Ive never really had a proper cuddle before."

"Then you've been missing out." Luke replies, kissing the top of my head.

I yawn as I feel my eyes begin to droop. "Goodnight, Lucas."

"Gernert, Jade."

Well this took some turns now didn't it.

As you see, I got around to making a new cover, after breaking records by actually willingly being social. Also, I decided to use brown haired Ariana Grande than red.
