IMPRINT

Chapitre Doux

Surely enough, Mother was correct. Flights to Australia are not very full on a weekday. Wednesday, to be specific. But that didn't change the fact it would still be about a day before we actually landed in Australia.

I spent most of this grueling, long flight (or two to be exact) doing homework, jamming to Taylor Swift (why not?) and watching Friends. Other than that, I was sleeping, or at least attempting to.

Thoughts were swirling in my head as I thought of who we would be touring with.My mother, the new tour manager, already explained the crew. Hair dressers, stylists, producers..the list went on and on.

The part that scared me the most was the performers. Not themselves, but the fact that they were guys. And the fact that they requested to share a hotel room with us.

Only increasing the chances of them imprinting on me.

When my mom told me this, it was only because of fear that I began to freak out. As always, my mother laughed and told me that the chances were unlikely.

But that didn't I actually believed her. So, I shall live through this summer in terror of unwillingly falling in love with a band member.

Goody-goody.

Once the plane landed, I stumbled my whole way exiting the plane. I may of looked like a drunk person, but I really didn't give a damn at the moment.

A whole team of security was waiting for Mom and I once we exited the plane. They lead us out to a limo (Sweet!) and told us that we were headed to the hotel to meet the bands.

I sat, physically shaking, in the back seat of the limo. My mother eyed me with great suspicion.

"Oh, would you give it a rest already? Nothing's gonna happen!" She says with the usual laugh.

"You don't know that! You know what happened to Kylie!" I snap.

Kylie, my used to be best friend. Then, one time on vacation, she met this guy called Derrick. Then, a month later, she came to me with the news that he imprinted. We've talked bits and bits since, but we haven't physically seen each other.

"Oh well, just because it happened to her doesn't mean it will happen to you." Mom replies, rolling her eyes.

"Once again, you're not Professor Trelawney." I respond. "Oh, maybe you are..."

"We've arrived." The driver says from up front.

"Thank goodness." Momma mutters.

We exit the car and grab our bags. The security team follows us as we check into the hotel.

May the reign of terror begin.

Notes

I added more, because the last chapter sucked.

Might be adding some "dirty romance" soon, haha.
