Okay. I'm officially dead. I flash them an uneasy smile.
- Um...Emily...you know how I told you that back in America I was kinda part of a gang...?

Jace scoffs.

I don't want him to tell her I am a the famous street-fighter. He seems to understand it and shuts up.

- So...I was a part of Jace's gang...And then I moved in England and I stopped being in the gang. Aaannd...I met Max! So I got into gang stuff again and Jace, right here, decided to pay me a visit! Yea...basically that sums it all...

I smile sweetly and she grins nicely but still glares at Jace.
Yeah!...I handled it.

The bell rings and Jace has to go "feed his grandmother" ( we all know that means he's gonna do illegal things, his grandmother died when he was 5 ) so I stay with Emily in the classroom, talking and laughing until 3 pm happens. I decide to go back home in case Harry is there.

Wait what? No no no no no! That can't be happening! This is not good! Not good at all...I know Harry is nice, handsome and really funny but it must say Harry and the boys.

Shit. I forgot I went to school with Jake. I don't have a car to go back home! Why does this always happen to me? Seriously...I should really buy a car...A nice Maserati would be cool...Maybe I should ask Jace if he has my money from street-fighting. I left without taking it and it should be enough to buy an awesome car.

I dial Max's number and asks him if he can bring me back home. He's next to the high school because he had to do “business”. Oh! He needs to feed his grandmother too... Luckily no one bothers me when I wait on the parking lot apart from one guy that wanted to get my number and was really annoying.

Let's just say he'll need ice for his face...
When I get into Max's car and people see his face, they start whispering again and looking at me wide-eyed. Great. I have a feeling tomorrow, I'll be in the centre of everyone's discussions. I already am but still...I think, they'll invent some kind of story like : “ Nikki is dating Harry, but is cheating on him with Max! ”
Bullshit...Though I wouldn't mind dating Harry...I'm sure he's good in bed...
What the heck Nikki??! Stop it!

I start talking to Max about random things and turn on the radio. “Fool's gold” by One Direction is playing. I grin devilishly and turn the volume up so everyone outside the car can hear it. I start singing again and Max quickly cuts me.

- Nikki! You know I can't be seen in town listening to One Direction! I'm not Drew...!

I smirk :

- And I want to be a unicorn but we don't all have what we want, uh Max?

He looks at me incredulously

- A unicorn? You want to be a unicorn...?
- Of course I want to be a unicorn! Puh-lease...! They're so freaking awesome!

I see him shoot me a look that mean “ Okaayy...I don't get it but sure...whatever you say! ”
I laugh and we arrive at my house, still playing One Direction ( Max started singing it too...I KNEW he liked them! Or maybe it's just that his “little sister always listen to them at home”, as he told me...Yeah sure I believe you Max...).

Anyway, I hope the boys are not outside, in case they hear us. That would be embarrassing. I don't really want them to know I'm a fan. I start to get out of the car and am about to wave Max goodbye when Harry gets out of the house. Luckily, the music has changed. We are now listening to Cher Lloyd, which Max isn't that happy about.

Harry looks at me and smiles widely. I grin back but stop right now when I see him spotting Max. And not looking very pleased. In fact he looks like he just ate a spider. Which I think is really horrible. To be honest, I've never really tried it... Maybe I should google it...
NIKKI, STOP RAMBLING and get back to reality!

Harry, looks between me and Max and furrows his eyebrows. Okay, I really need to do something right now. We can feel a tension, I didn't even know existed between them.
I look pleadingly at Max, prying that he'll behave nicely for once with someone other than the gang members and me. He nods, seeing that it really means something for me to be nice with Harry and I say :

- Hey Harry!
