Call It a Dare

Bottles littered the floor of Liam and Niall’s shared apartment, a two story town house in Sheffield, England. Forgotten shot glasses laid scattered on the coffee table along with half smoked cigarettes in ceramic ash trays. “I’m bored”, whined Calum, turning himself upside down on an ancient love seat. “Let’s do something.”

“Like what?” questioned Louis.

Calum rolled his eyes and let them focus on a TV screen. “Something other than watching Luke play Ocarina of Time. We should do something fun.”

Zayn thought for a moment, sipping on a bottle of Jager as he looked around. “We could play King’s Cup”, he suggested.

“Yeah fucking right”, scoffed Ashton. “Why would we do that?”

“Because I’m still sober enough to walk.”

“No”, murmured Harry. “We should do something…interesting.”

“A little on the sketchy side”, smirked Michael.

“Is there anything we haven’t done?” demanded Liam.

Calum thought. “Well, we’ve robbed stores, we’ve done the black market, we’ve broken into things, we’ve lifted cars.”

Luke smashed a button on his control, pausing the game. The boys thought silently. There wasn’t much that sounded exciting when your gang was as successful as theirs. “You know what we’ve never done before?” asked Liam in a small voice. “We’ve never kidnapped anyone.”

Calum beamed. “Liam, you’re brilliant!” he gasped. “Why don’t we do that?”

“Then what do we do with them?” demanded Ashton.

“I have an uncle who just died”, Louis stated. “We could take them to his house and stash them there. It’s big and discreet. Nobody should find us for a while.”

Luke laughed. “Hell, why not try for multiples?” he suggested. “We can try capturing a few people-“

“And then what do we do? Just keep them locked up in the house?” asked Zayn.

“What if it’s someone important?” questioned Niall. “We could hold them for ransom.”

“Or we could pick up tourists and sell them into slavery”, added Michael.

“Or do it just to see if we can do it”, shrugged Luke. “After all, we’ve never kidnapped a person before, let alone multiple persons.”

Harry clapped his hands. “It’s settled then! We’re going to kidnap somebody or bodies and take them back to Lou’s uncle’s!”

“And we’ll figure out what to do from there!” smiled Calum.

Nothing exciting, just a prologue :P I don't think the rest of the story will be so boring. There'll be other characters added as the authors start writing
