Chapter 17
Delilahs pov.
so it's official I am going on a date with Jay, my first date ever, I was sort of freaking out when I hit my room. I closed my door and I couldn't do anything because I couldn't tell my friends I was dating Jay. The rumors will start going around and then it will hit andrew and he will get upset at it. So I had to keep it to myself. I needed to think of something to wear.
Jay's pov.
Once I had beat andrew in the game. I had decided I should get going home, I was tired. And I smelt like popcorn. I always smell like popcorn coming from their house. Delilah and I had texted from here and there. She was just so amazing.
I had gotten home, parking behind a vehicle that was in my spot. I locked my car door as soon as I got out and then went inside the house, first thing I hear was my dad laughing. I walk into the kitchen.
my dad was talking to a familiar guy that I use to see around. He sent me a smile.
"Luke?" I said, confused off of his facial hair and glasses.
"Hey, what's up lad! How are you?" He said in a cheerful tone.
"Good. You?" I said with a smile.
"I'm fairly well, you have turned into a giant, taller than me." He laugh. "I blame your dad, he is a short lad."
"Shirt is always better if you catch my drift." My dad spoke with a laughter throwing his head back. Luke as well.
"are you eye candy for the ladies around here? Heard you were on the football team, yeah?" Luke said, picking up his cup and swirling the straw that was in it.
"Yeah, a few girls like me. I guess." I said walking past time and to the fridge.
"Any girl particular?" Luke said sending me a playful wink.
Yes, a billion times yes. I didn't know what to say. "I'm extremely tired. It's nice seeing you around luke. Hope to see you soon."
"Alright. Keep the good grades in school." He pointed out. "I'll be around often. you know me and the boys are quite busy".
"oh yeah! You guys are awesome." I complimented.
"We do it all for the fans." Luke smiled.
Luke was in this famous punk band with three other guys. I know them as well, they are in this family and my dad knows them well. They Got signed by some record company after my 5th birthday. It's amazing.
"Well good night luke, good night dad." I wave them off with a smile.
"Night." They said in unison.
It Was good seeing him again. Maybe one day. I will be able to take Delilah to see them in concert one time, they are amazing in concert.
