Where Do Broken Hearts Go (Sequel to You and I)

Connie’s POV

After a long plane ride, I finally landed in Toronto. Bernice was going to pick me up from the airport, so we could grab something to eat. I’m happy to see her because I want to tell her everything that has happened.

I was looking around the airport when I spotted her. I ran up to her because I actually missed her a lot. I don’t even remember the last time we hung out.

“Bernice! I missed you!” I said.

“I missed you too! Here, I’ll help carry your bags to my car.” She said.

We both headed to Bernice’s car and loaded my things in the back. We didn’t know where we would eat, but if we saw something we liked on the way, we would go.

“So, how was Ireland? Better yet, how was the wedding?” Bernice asked.

“The wedding was great. I’m really happy for Greg and Denise.” I said.

“Are you excited to be back in Toronto?! Evan probably missed you a lot.” She said.

I was looking down and I didn’t say a word.Bernice looked at me and she knew I was upset.

“Let’s just talk at the restaurant.” I said.

We both drove in silence.

Bernice and I spotted a restaurant somewhere in downtown Toronto. When we went in, we took our spots.

“What are you going to get?” She asked.

“Maybe a Chicken Caesar Salad.” I said.

We both ordered our food and sat at the table waiting.

“So, tell me what’s up with you and Evan. ”She said.

“Well, you know the rumours we have been hearing and Evan denied? They were true.” I said. I went on telling her about what happened with the phone call.

Bernice got up of her seat and came to hug me.

“I’m sorry Connie.” She said.

“I’m sorry that I ever dated or became friends with him again.” I said.

“Did anything else exciting happen in Ireland?” She asked.

“Nothing really exciting…Maybe shocking.” I said.

She raised her left eyebrow, confused.

I told about the whole trip with Niall and the things that happened.

“He definitely still really likes you.” Bernice said.

“Which scares me because I think I like him back.” I said.

“And what’s wrong with that?” She asked.

“Because I don’t want to be hurt again by him. He told me we would always be together and I actually believed him when he said that.” I said.

“I understand what you mean. But I can tell that Niall has regretted that ever since you guys broke up. I think he had never stopped liking you, even when he hung out with Emily. Things are different now.” She said.

“Maybe.He also asked me to join with you and the boys on tour this summer.” I said.

Bernice eyes went wide open.

“Well, are you going to?!” She asked.

“I think I am.I want to get away from everything Evan.” I said.

Bernice squealed and starting jumping up and down.She’s so embarrassing. Our food came and we started eating.

Niall’s POV

The boys and I right now are in Los Angeles doing sound check in the Staples Center. We were going to perform in a couple of days and the girls were also flying in.

The boys and I were taking a break and sat on the edge of the stage.

“I’m so happy for Greg and Denise!” Harry said.

“I’m happy for them too.” I said.

“How was Ireland with Connie?” Louis said as he elbowed me.

“It was…interesting.” I said. I told him about the events that happened when I was with Connie and the Evan situation.

“What the heck?! How could he do that again?!” Liam said. He was like a protective father.

“Let’s go find him and beat him up.” Louis said.

I laughed. We were just joking, no worries.

“I asked her to come on tour with us and since Bernice is coming-“ I said as Zayn interrupted me.

“SO IT’S JUST LIKE OLD TIMES!” Zayn said.

We all laughed.

This is going to be an interesting summer.
