Fast forward to five months later…



Connie’s POV

I haven’t seen the boys in a while. Evan, Bernice and I all went back to our second term of school. We were all pretty busy with assignments and tests all the time.

We were studying for our finals and then we were finally done our first year of university. I barely had gotten any sleep these past couple of weeks because I had so much studying to do. Doing well was my only option to be honest.

I was in my room studying, when someone knocked on the door. I went to open it and it was Evan.

“Hey Connie, I brought you some coffee.” He said as he kissed my cheek.

“Thanks, Evan. Lucky you, you’re done all your exams.I have one more left in a couple of hours.” I said.

“You’re going to do great. You have been studying so much. I’m going to go back to the room to finish packing. Text me when you’re done.” He said.

He kissed my forehead, goodbye and left.

I went back to studying until I had to leave to take my exam. Bernice and I were taking the same one. We both said good luck to each other and went into the exam room.

After two hours, we were finally done.

We both got out of the room, extremely happy.

“It’s officially summer break!” I said.

“I’M SO EXCITED! Now we can hang out all the time!” She said.

“Oh, please. You’re going to be with Harry on tour most of the time.” I said.

“Don’t worry, we’ll spend every day together before I leave!” She said.

Bernice was going on tour with the boys again because she was going to spend it with Harry. I didn’t mind because Bernice never gets to see him. It makes me happy to see that she is excited. We both went back to our dorms and finished packing the rest of our stuff.

I was pretty excited to go back home to see my family as well.

When we finished, we were going to meet Evan at the entrance of our building. When we got downstairs, we saw Evan as he helped with her bags.

“We’re done school guys!” He said.

We were all pretty excited to start summer break and go home. We all got into Evan’s car and started heading home.

The car ride was about two hours long. Not that bad.Evan dropped Bernice off first and then he dropped me. I told him I’ll text him later.

When he helped me get my stuff out of my car, I walked up towards the door. Before I could even knock, my mom was there to greet me.

“CONNIE! I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HOME! I MISSED YOU!” She shouted.

I started to laugh.

“Me too, Mom.” I said.

“Dad’s coming home from work soon and Crystal is coming back from university too today.” She said.

I went to put my stuff upstairs. I flopped on my bed because there’s no place better than being in your own bed.

I did a bit of unpacking. But then, I realized in a couple of days, I was going to get on a flight to Ireland for Greg and Denise’s wedding. I’m so happy for them.I was bit nervous to see Niall because I haven’t seen him or talked to him since New Years. I was pretty excited to see the rest of the boys there.

I was walking down the stairs just in time for someone to knock on the door.

I opened it and it was my dad and sister.

“DAD! CRYSTAL! I MISSED YOU GUYS!” I screamed.
“I missed you too, sweetie.” My dad said as he gave me a big hug.

“Sissy! It’s great seeing you too!” She said as she hugged me.

I helped my sister get her bags to her room. When we were done, we both went downstairs to join a family dinner with my parents.

It was great seeing them and catching up with them as well.

“Are you excited for Ireland this weekend?” My sister said.

“I am.I’m really happy for Greg and Denise.” I said.

“Tell them congratulations from us.” My mom said as she smiled.

“I will.” I said as I smiled.

Niall’s POV

I was with my brother as we were picking a tuxedo for him. He was a last minute shopper.

“How do you like this one?” My brother asked as he was looking at himself in the mirror.

“Um, I liked the other one you tried better.” I said.

“It’s too hard to pick.” He said.

“That’s what you get for shopping last minute.” I said as I laughed.

He laughed as well.

He sat down next to me.

“I’m pretty excited for the big day on Saturday.” He said.

“I’m happy for you bro.” I said.

I was happy for him. I was also a bit nervous because Connie was flying to Ireland as well for the wedding.

Greg saw that I looked a bit upset.

“What’s on your mind?” He asked.

“I’m just a bit nervous because Connie is coming to the wedding. I haven’t seen her in a while and I really don’t know what to feel.” I said.

“It’s going to be alright.” He said as he patted my back.

I smiled.

“I mean, it won’t be that awkward that she’s staying with us and-” He aid as I interrupted him.

“WHAT?!” I screamed. The ladies in the store were looking at us.

“Yeah, mom wanted me to tell you that last.She invited her to stay with us.” Greg said.

“Is mom crazy?!” I said.

“She wanted to see Connie and as well, she offered.” He said.

I placed my hands in my face. This might be interesting.

Connie’s POV

I was in my room packing for Ireland in two days.My sister was on my bed next to me watching me pack instead of helping.

“So, do you think Niall is okay with you staying over at his parents’ house?” Crystal asked.

“Well, I hope so. His mom asked me to as well.” I said as I kept on packing.

“Do you think it’s going to be awkward though?” She asked.

“Let’s hope not.” I said.

“How does Evan feel about this?” She asked.

“He’s honestly not okay with the idea, but he said that he trusts me.” I said.

I continued packing.
