Chapter 6 - The Plan
*Catherine's P.O.V.*
I'm kinda freaked out. I stand up and walk to the bathroom door a couple feet away. I close it behind me and I lock it. I walk in front of the mirror and grab my face, a whimper leaves my mouth. I want to go home, I miss everything.
Whenever something bad happened, my mother would always tell me 'Nothing lasts forever.' I can still hear her voice in my head. Only in my head...
I shift my head to the side and a bright light burns my eye slightly.
A window.
"Catherine"
I hear Harry shout from the couch, but I was hardly listening. I remember saying: when they don't expect it.
"I'm sorry"
I mumble and tip-toe over to the small window. I could draw through it within seconds.
I take a pair of nail scissors and begin cutting the wire over the actual window.
"Catherine? Are you in there?"
Niall asks and I feel a flash of horror.
"Yes, just a second."
I say impatiently and within a minute or two, I throw the wire quietly on the rug and slide the window open.
"What are-"
He started to say, but he must have realized what I was doing.
"Catherine, don't you dare!"
Niall shouts but I don't answer. I jump up and put my legs through the window and slide to the other side. Almost instantly, I hear a door kicked open about 15 feet away.
I bolt with the idea of escaping in my head- no. Not in my head anymore. I will escape.
I run and I don't look back.
My heart's pounding in my chest, almost ready to explode, my legs moving so fast, I can hardly feel them. It's almost like I'm flying.
I want to stop, but If I do. They will catch me and who knows what they will do to me.
I ran unaware of my destination, but someplace other then here.
I run past a couple ponds, then I come to a log cabin, I pass a small shopping mall, and suddenly I see something familiar.
A Bus stop.
I keep running towards it speeding up thinking that they're still behind me, but
BEEEEEEEEP!!!!
There was a sudden flash of pain and all was dark.
