Rachel's P.O.V.

One by one we all went in to see Emily. The doctors said she wouldn't wake up for at least another 12 hours and sent us all home to sleep. I just headed back to Calums as it was Saturday and I had planned to stay there anyways.

Though it was the middle of the night at this point none of us were tired. Luke insisted on staying in the hospital so it was just Calum and I at his place.

I was feeling unbelievably stressed at this point, and just wanted to sleep, or run or drink or just do something that would distract me.

We were watching one of the Harry Potter movies which normally I loved. I couldn't concentrate however. My mind was just so fuzzy. I wanted something, anything to just relax me, to take my mind off of what had just happened.

I glanced across at Calum, an idea in my head. It probably wasn't a good idea. On the contrary it was probably a very bad idea, but in the moment it made sense to me.

Calum turned to look at me, confused as to why I was staring at him so intently.

"Rach, what's going on-" he cut off abruptly when I leaned across to press my lips firmly against his.

His first reaction was shock and for a few seconds he did nothing. However before long he was kissing me back, his lips moulding against mine in a way that made me realise he was a very good kisser.

He varied the pressure he applied, changing the angle of his face frequently. I sitting next to him on the couch but he pulled my hips towards him, until I was sitting in his lap, straddling him.
My hands were tugging lightly at his hair as his ran up and down along the curve of my waist. I lay my hands on top of his, placing them on my waist underneath the vest I hadn't had the chance to take off.

He pulled away when his hands started to trail upward along my soft skin and he realised where he was going.

His eyes met mine and he raised his eyebrows, as if asking for permission. I responded by leaning back in to kiss him, but this time on the cheek, continually lowering until I was kissing his neck softly, applying more pressure as I got lower.
He let out a low moan as he stood up, his hands now holding my upper thighs as he carried me towards his bedroom. He used his foot to kick the door closed and then turned, his lips meeting mine again as he shoved me up against the door.

He let my feet touch the ground once again, his hands moving upwards to remove vest. I allowed him to take it off without any question, meeting his lips again as I began walking backwards towards the bed.

From then on everything was a blur.

I groaned as I opened my eyes the next morning, my head pounding from exhaustion. I glanced at the clock on Calum's bedside. 8.00am? I had barely got a few hours sleep.
I Knew without even having to look that I was still naked and felt instantly guilty. I had completely taken advantage of Calum, using him to make myself feel better.

Calum wasn't in the room anymore meaning he was already up so I quickly got up, slipping on the pyjamas I had been wearing the night before.

I opened Calums door a tad and froze when I saw Calum and Luke sitting on the couch talking.

Luke was looking a little confused.

"So let me get this straight.. you slept with Rachel?" He asked, Calum nodded.

"But you guys aren't together?" he continued.

Calum shook his head.

"She was upset... I think she just kinda wanted to distract herself" he replied with a shrug, taking a bit of the piece of toast he had in front of him.
"And youre okay with that?" Luke wondered, his eyebrows furrowed.

Calum shrugged.

"Well I guess.. I mean I knew how it was when I was doing it. She was hurting, she just wanted something else to do" he replied.

"And that something else was you" Luke chuckled, his eyebrows raised.

Calum rolled his eyes but grinned.

I chose that moment to walk out to them, greeting them both with a wave.

"Morning guys, you heading back to the hospital in a bit?" I asked, quickly sitting down on the armchair, while they were both on the couch.

Luke nodded.

"Yeah we're going back in about an hour" he told me.

"We can stop off at yours to get your clothes" Calum added.

I met his eye, giving him a smile which he returned with a grin.
