Undercover

The Guest

°Whitney°

"Thank God it's Saturday." I say to myself as I climb out of bed. The first place I go is to the bathroom to do My hair. I just pull it into a messy ponytail and go down stairs.

"Hey Whit. We have a guest coming today and I volunteered you to take him shopping and things today. "

"What? I wasn't going to get dressed today. " I say as I push My glasses up My nose and grab a bottle of orange juice.

"Your going to like this job."

"Really? Why?"

"It's kind of a challenge. I know how much you like a challenge... You have to try and make a boy look unrecognizable. You up for it?"

"Who is it? Do I already know who he is?" My dad only works for celebrities but he never makes them stay here.

"You've heard of him."

As if on que there is a knock on the door.

"I got it." I say as I walk to the door trying to hide My excitement. The moment the door opens I'm completely frozen.

"Hey. Can I come in."

"Yeah. Come on in Niall. " I hear My dad say from behind me. I move to the side allowing him to squeeze past me before closing the door.

"So Whitney this is Niall. Niall this is My oldest daughter Whitney. You'll be going to school with her."

We are all now sitting at the kitchen table eating some French toast My mom made before she left this morning.

"What? Dad he can't go to school looking like that. He'll get swarmed. "

"I know. That's where you come in. You are going to take him to the mall. Pick out some clothes hair die and contacts. "

"Make him look unrecognizable. I got it."

"How about this?" I ask holding a box of black hair die out to Niall.

He's wearing one of My dad's oversized hoodies and sun glasses.

"I don't know. You think I'd look good with black hair?"

"It goes with the green contacts we got... and most of the clothes. "

"Yeah... I guess your right." He smiles at me as he takes the box of hair die up to the cashier.

As we left the mall and headed to My car I had to ask a burning question.

"Where do your fans think you are?" I unlock My car, throw the bags in and wait for him to get in before pulling out of the parking lot.

"They think I'm still in the hospital. Your dad's idea I guess."

"Well school Monday will be fun. My sister Katherine can't know who you really are. She can't keep a secret so we have to get you hidden before she gets home."

°Niall°

Whitney had died My hair for me and now what once was a trademark blonde is now Cole black.

"Put these in." She hands me the contacts after she blow dries My hair.

I do as she asks, coming out of the bathroom I see her face light up with excitement seeing me in new clothes with a new hair and eye color. She seems proud of her work.

"Well if I didn't know you. I would never guess you are Niall Horan now."

She smiles the most amazing smile. Damn this girl is cute in a nerdy way.

"That's what we want. Right?"

"Excited for Monday? "

"Not really. No."

"Don't worry. Stillwater Oklahoma is a small town. School won't be to bad... It's better if you have good social skills... Clearly you do."

She sits on the bed letting out a deep breath.

"What's wrong?" I ask sitting next to her.

"Nothing really. School sucks for me. Bullies are something else. "

"Why do they bully you?" I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I'm genuinely concerned.

"I'm... I'm a um... virgin. "

"Really? "

"You sound surprised."

"I am a little surprised. " I tuck a strand of her red hair behind her ear.

"I mean your beautiful... But there's nothing wrong with being a virgin. It makes you more desirable to guys. I mean honestly what kind of guy is going to want a girl who gives herself to everyone? "

"Yeah well guys don't like inexperienced girls either. "

"It doesn't Have to be that way you know. "

"What do you mean? "

"I mean... you could get experience and still be a virgin. "

I lean in and kiss her.
