Moving To England

Chapter Thirty-Seven

*Destiny’s POV*
*Continuation*

I stared at the picture of Harry, as a tear escaped my eyes, I realised how much I missed Harry...

"I must go home!" I declared aloud. "I'll leave after Sally comes back. I need to go back to my friends, family ... And Harry." I went into the room I was staying in. I changed out of Gemma's clothes and slipped into my clothes, which Sally had helped me clean.

*Harry's POV*

Mum got off the phone with grandma. "Well?" I asked, eagerly hoping Grandma had Destiny.

"I think Destiny is with her, but I’m not sure. Your grandma said she'll come call back later, she has to sort a few things out first," Mum explained. I nodded, with a sad sigh.

"Who is Victor?" Ally asked the question everyone’s been wondering about.

"I thought, he was one of Destiny's friends. Just one who we never got to meet." Mr Baker explained, shaking his head in sadness.

"Have you ever met him?" Elizabeth asked, with narrowed eyes. Both of Destiny's parents shook their head.

"Destiny never talked about him ..." Mrs Baker pointed out. I nodded, thinking of any possible reason why Victor would scare Destiny so much that she ran away.

‘Who is this idiot...?’ I pondered, running my hand through my hair.

"How about some breakfast ...?" Mrs Maxwell reluctantly offered. We all nodded, realising how hungry we were.

*Destiny's POV*

I heard Sally entered the house from the front door. Immediately, I dropped the book I had in my hands and helped her with the groceries, as well as making breakfast. We sat down at the table and began eating. Sally was the first to break the silence.

"So, there is a tenth-grade girl, from my grandson – Harry’s school, who ran away from his school, just the day before I found you,“ Sally says, hinting that she knew about me. My eyes got watery upon hearing my boyfriend's name. "Do you know anything about this ...?"

"Well ... Yes. Listen, Sally ... I am not from London. I … I’m from Holmes Chapel. I ran away from school after hearing something that could possibly bring back my … troubled past." I say, with shame, as I stared at the food on my plate.

"Really now?" Sally raises an eyebrow.

I nod. "But now, I know it’s time to go back home ..." I say with my head lowered.

"Good choice." Sally smiled at me. "I'll call my daughter back, and then we can take a cab back to your home, Mhmm?"

I smile back and nod at her generosity. "Thank you." I cry, throwing my arms around her fragile neck. She returned the hug back eagerly.

"It was such a blessing to have you here with me. I loved all the chats we had. Please come back soon, with parental permission, of course, and feel free to call me. You know, if ever you need someone to talk to."

I nodded, as a tear escaped my eyes. I was filled with sorrow, at the thought of leaving Sally here, all alone. I loved spending the past three days with her. She was filled with wisdom, great stories and lots of kindness.

Sally dialled Mrs Cox’s number. "Hello ... Annie? ... Yes ... Yes ... Destiny is here, with me ... Yes ... I’ll come drop her off ... (Sally chuckles) Oh, really ... (Sally notices me staring at Harry picture) I think she misses him, as well ... Yes ... Bye, Love."

*Harry's POV*

Mum had a huge smile on her face, as she hung up the phone. "Well?" I eagerly asked.

"She has Destiny!" Mum exclaimed we all let out a happy sigh of relief. "They'll be here shortly."

"Like now shortly?" I question my mother, she nods. I looked down at my clothing, which I have been wearing for the past three days. "Shit! I need to change! I can't let her see me like this." I exclaimed, running off to my house. I hear a few giggles from my friends as I sprint away. I take a quick shower and slip into a fresh, clean outfit.

As I make my way to Destiny's house, I notice everyone littered around the Baker's front lawn. Just as I join everyone, a bright yellow taxi comes rolling in. First, grandma comes out of it and Destiny follows out. I notice the look of shame on her face. But I didn't care, immediately I ran up to my girlfriend and engulfed her in a hug. Almost immediately, Destiny hugged me back throwing her arms around my neck.

"I missed you, baby," I mumbled into her neck.

"I missed you too." She cries, burying her face in my chest.

*Ally's POV*

As Harry runs off to change into clean clothes the rest of us laugh as we litter around on Destiny's front lawn. Laughing, something we hadn’t done since Destiny left. Some sort of coated fear lifted, and everyone seemed to be a lighter mood. After three long days of searching for our friend, we finally find her, and she is alright.

Just as Harry joins us again just as a bright yellow taxi comes rolling in. First Harry's grandma comes out then, Destiny followed out. Immediately Harry ran up to her girlfriend and engulfed her in a hug. Destiny hugged him back throwing her arms around his neck. The rest of us exchanged smirks and smiles, before rushing to the two and making it a massive group hug.

Mr Baker cleared his throat, getting our attention. Reluctantly, we all separated and were replaced with Destiny’s parents. Her mother shredded a couple of tears, and her father insisted that the dust around them was causing his watery eyes. After the hugs were over. Mum suggested that we all get some rest, no one had a proper sleep for the past three days.

Immediately, Harry flung Destiny over his shoulders and marched her to his house. She didn’t struggle at all and let him do as he pleased. After Harry and Destiny had been gone, the rest of us gathered ourselves and went to get a must needed rest. We all decided upon deal with why Destiny had run away in the first place, later, at least she was home safe for now...

*Destiny's POV*

Harry carried me to his bedroom and plopped me on his bed. “You’re taking a nap with me. No questions.” Harry demanded, jumping onto the bed next to me.

“Only sleeping right, Harry?” I asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist, with a smile.

“Of course.” He smiled back, as I rested my head against his chest.

"My headaches," I muttered, not excepting for Harry to hear that, but he did. In return, he planted a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"Better?" Harry asked.

"Yes, but if you do it again, it may feel extra better," I mumbled happily. I inched closer, yearning for Harry's love. Harry chuckled as he placed another gentle kiss upon my forehead. I smiled at the kiss. For a couple of moments, we lay there holding one another, and everything was perfect.

Harry broke the absolute silence.

*Harry's POV*

"Baby?" I mumbled.

"Yes, Harry?" Destiny moaned.

"Why did you run away ...?"

Silence...

"Umm ... Okay. Who's Victor?"

More silence...

"Okay then ..." I say, feeling stupid for asking when she apparently didn’t want to talk about it.

"Sorry ..." Destiny mumbled, "I just ... I can't – don’t want to, really talk about it, right now ... There is so much to tell you ...”

“I know … you can tell me later, yeah?” I nodded.

“Yeah.”

“Now let’s get some rest, yeah?” I asked, Destiny nodded and curled up to my side. I played with her hair, as I dozed off.
