"That is wrong on so many levels..."

"Get up."

"Liam."
"Harry, I'm serious."
"Liam, I'm serious."
"You're leaving me no choice."
"Why do I have to get up’? It's Sunday."
"Exactly, it's Sunday. Sunday we go over to your mum's for dinner."
"It's morning."
"Haz, it's nearly two in the afternoon."
"Oh."
"Oh is right, now get up."
"Ugh, I hate you."
"You killed my turtle."
"Let it go." "No. I liked my turtle." "Get over it, and get out of my room. Unless you want to get flashed." "You're sleeping naked?" When am I ever sleeping with clothes on Li?"
"Touche.... I'll be in the living room." With that he left, forcing me to get up. If there was one thing you needed to know about Liam, its that he's stubborn. He doesn't care if you've only slept for an hour, if you're not ready to go when he gets to your house... You better hope he's having a good day.
Who am I kidding? Liam's never in a good mood.
I didn't take too long getting ready though, knowing that the wrath of my mother was far worse than Liam's. She'd skin me alive if I even thought about not showing up... When I walked into the living room Liam was standing by the door, which caused me to roll my eyes.
"You know you can sit down on my couch..." "Last time I sat on your couch I found a used condom. Never again." "Jeez Li, you make me sound like some sort of sex addict." "Sometimes I think you are, in fact I think everyone in the town thinks that." "Maybe I should just get a t-shirt that states I haven't had sex for over a month, think everyone will leave me alone after that?" "They'll probably assume you got someone pregnant." "First Luke, now you. I haven't gotten anyone pregnant for fucksake." "That you know of." "I'm sure if I got someone pregnant I would know. Secrets don't stay secret in this town."
"I know, I'm just teasing you Harry." He nudged me with his elbow, to which I just shrugged to. We walked outside my home and I couldn't help but glance over at Niall's place. He wasn't outside today, which didn't really surprise me. We were out pretty late last night.
"I know Liam, its just... Everyone calls me a slut, and it's kind of... Hurtful I guess you could say. I'm not a slut."
"Harry, when I tell you this it's because I care... You kind of are a slut though. I mean.. You've slept with nearly everyone who's within five years of your age."
"I didn't sleep with any one underage." "You know what I mean..." "You're lucky you don't have two turtles, I'd be more than willing to kill your second one." "You just don't like to hear the truth, do you?" "It's not the truth, I'm not a slut. I... I'm not."
"Okay, I guess we can just leave it there. You can be in your constant state of denial, and I'll just shut up." Liam shrugged, walking just a little further ahead of me. I sighed as I realized I had hurt his feelings... He hurt mine too in all honesty.
"Li..." I tried once we reached my mother's house. He stopped on the first step, turning to look at me with soft eyes.
"I don't want to hear it. Let's... Let's just get this dinner over with okay?" I just nodded, following him into the house. I was greeted by my mother's smiling face, much like I was every time I came over. She pulled both Liam and me into a hug, kissing both our cheeks before letting us go. She then decided to chew us both out for not visiting her all week, when in all honestly we had seen her the other day.
Dinner was just as boring as it always was, but the smile on my mum's face was the reason why I did this.... Always keep the women in your life happy. That was the philosophy I was raised on...
"So, Harry... What's this thing I've been hearing about you having a new boy?"
"It's nothing mum, he's just my neighbor is all." I muttered, pushing my peas around my plate. I wasn't really all that hungry... I didn't really want to eat.
"Just your neighbor?" "Yes, just my neighbor. I like to consider him my friend, but he's nothing more than that." "For now at least." "What do you mean by that?"
"Harry, I've raised you... I know how you work. I'm not an idiot." She arched an eyebrow at me, and in this moment I never felt more hurt than I was right now.
She didn't raise me... "Can I not have him as a friend? Luke and Louis are my friends." "You've known them since you were 5." "So?"
"I'm just saying sooner or later you're going to get feelings for that boy... That is if you haven't already, and just like your father... You'll fuck up."
"Don't talk about him like that." I hissed, looking up from my plate to glare at my mother. She wasn't always like this. Most days she left that subject untouched, she knew how much it bothered me...
"I'm just telling you the truth, you remind me of your father more and more everyday Harry..."
"Still doesn't give you the right to call him a fuck up. He was there for me more than you ever were when I was a child."
"He left Harry."
"So did you. You left the both of us first, and then you came back. I know he's never coming back, but he's still my father.. I refuse to listen to you when you speak so illy of him. This dinner was nice mother, but I'm going home now. I'll see you next week." And with that I stood up from the table, walking out the front door before anyone could stop me. I put my hands in the pockets of my jacket as I walked the empty streets. I didn't realize I had made it to my house already until Niall's voice rang from across the street.
"You ready to watch the sunset Harry?" He called out, and I couldn't hep the smile that came across my face...
The little slut dresser never failed to make me happy.
