Romancing The Jungle
Stream. (3rd Chapter)
Valerie's POV:

Could this be my end? Is it possible that in any second from now, I would be ripped into shreds and served as a meal to this hungry carnivore? “(I whimper as I sniffle my tears) God, please help me I beg of you…” The black panther roars as it leaps at me, making me turn my head downwards as a scream in fear that departs from my vocal cords. Two seconds later, I notice that my position has not changed. In complete confusion, my ears are not able to detect other than a little rustling sound from far away.
Could I have fainted? Impossible, or is it? My curiosity challenges my instinct, allowing me to open my eyes and lift my head upwards. I notice something extremely strange in front of me; the panther is not there anymore. Could I have been hallucinating? I stare down at my trapped leg, focusing on freeing myself yet again, for the time being.
I place both my palms on my wounded ankle, trying to free it by pulling it off in agony. With a swift movement, the log in front of me floats up high, then thrown away; freeing my ankle. I hear a puff of breathe being released closely to me, as I assume that its one of the crew members that has found and assisted me.
Without looking upwards at the person, I begin to mumble in a mixture of pain and relief: “Thank you so much for helping me. I should have seen the log, but I was distra-…” I get cut off when an object clamps over my head, making me feel dizzy and lose my conscious directly. Before the fainting feeling takes over me completely, I feel myself being lifted over something or someone, and carried away.
…Later in the Afternoon…
My body begins to flinch, as I begin to wakeup from my haze. My eyes open up slowly, as I hear a crunching noise appear under my head. I lift my head up, to notice that I am lying on a bed of long-green leaves. It isn’t practically a bed, its just endless layers of leaves stacked over each other. Instantly, I look at my ankle and notice that it is wrapped with the same leaf from the ones I am positioned on.
Certainly, I do not recall going back to the ship, and it is clear that I am still in the deep jungle; yet it seems safe for an uncertain reason. I glance around my surroundings, noticing that I am near a stream of water. Shifting my eyes to the right of the stream, and focusing them on the running waterfall; I notice a man bathing under it. This may sound cliché, but seriously I am in no time to resemble my situation to a disney story at the moment.
“(I croak) Hello, Sir? (I wave my hand in the air) Sir, I am awake now. Do you have any idea on how I could get back to the ship?” The man under the waterfall notices me, as he steps away and rushes out of the stream. As his wet body comes closer to my vision, I notice that he is completely undressed. I quickly place both my palms over my eyes, and the crunching of the dead leaves stops.
Other than the sound of the water clashing, there is nothing to be heard. Suddenly I feel drops of water falling gently on my thigh. I remove my palms slowly from my eyes, and notice something mysterious right in front of me. Green like emerald, like the leaves and trees that rule this jungle; the eyes of the man stare in wonder at me. His skin is bronzed from the sun rays, his long hair is routed and tangled around his head like a brown colour carved from the essence of the logs. I know for a fact that he doesn’t belong to our crew members, but where has this wildly beautiful man came from? And most importantly, why is he silent so far?

Hello! Well, with each last update that I will be posting on a daily base (hopefully), I will be adding notes that would help you understand and contain a full image of the events that are published :D So far, Valerie is seen to be a curious, girly, and stubborn young lady. We also know that she is a graduated person from university in the field of botany (the scientific field to study nature). (Y) As for what happened today, Valerie wanted to have her own time to roam around the island to explore it to her personal enjoyment. However, she tripped and her leg got stuck under a stiff rock. As she was trying to pull her leg out, a panther came into the view and leaped to attack her. Mysteriously the panther disappeared by the time that Valerie closed her eyes and screamed :O Later when she tried rescuing herself, the log was lifted by someone, who hit her on her head when she tried to thank the person. When she woke up later in the day, she noticed a man bathing under the waterfall in the stream. She tried communicating with him but she got mesmerised by his beautiful features <3 Who could this be ;) To find out, simply:
