Romancing The Jungle
Soirée. (27th Chapter)
Valerie's POV:

“So? Did you like it?” I ask him, as we both blush and smile at each other foolishly. He nods his head with a vibrant action, as I steal a quick peck from his lips. As I remove my hair from my face, my eyes capture something extremely awkward. Harry’s bulge is puffed, making me muffle a yelp under my breath; knowing exactly why his hormones are on go.
“(I whisper shyly) Um, Harry how about you go change your PJs, and meet me back here? We’ll go out for ice cream, if you want?” He screams a happy ‘ICE CREAM!’ as he jumps off bed, preparing to head to his room. His feet pause, as he quickly pecks my lips and rushes with a giggle to his room. I place my hand over my lips, feeling like the clouds have carried me on top of them and sailed to Neverland.
…In the Afternoon…
Harry and I spent the entire time roaming around the city. We had lunch, ice cream and we even went to buy Harry some supplies for his artwork. He bought a new set of charcoal colours, pastels and a sketch stand. Whenever my hand would leave his unintentionally, he would grab it back and give me that pearly white smile. He has the ability to sooth me, drive me to a land where him and I are the only humans in existence.
How? I don’t know how to sum it up, but what I am sure of is that I am getting used to the feeling that I have when he is with me. During the drive back to the villa, Harry kept sneaking kisses from my lips, making me blush redder and redder. Once we arrived, he picked my hands in his, and walked me to the inside. I was surprised to see my aunt inside, and for some reason I let go of Harry’s hand; causing him to frown.
“(She grins as she speaks) Right on time, kids. Harry, I need to speak to Valerie. Would you mind going upstairs? I’ll be right with you for our lesson about signifiers today. Make sure to prepare your notepad and pencil, alright?” He gave me a look that spoke to me ‘Do I go, or do I stay?” I nodded for him, as he rushed upstairs in his brown velvet boots. “Child, we need to talk about Harry.” My aunt and I walk to the living room, sitting on the same sofa.
“He isn’t interacting with anyone from his age, Val. He needs to meet kids from your age and his, in order to socialise and learn how to communicate with them. (She spreads facts) Aside from you, your father, myself and the employees in this household; Harry knows nobody. How about you throw a party, and invite your friends over? It could be a little soirée party, and you would introduce Harry to your posse?”
I sigh in thought, as I brush my tribal skirt to distract myself from the negative sides of the suggestion http://www.polyvore.com/brightful_madness/set?id=141220698&lid=4050520. She has a point, Harry does need to interact with people, but I am scared that last night’s event would repeat with one of my friends, or maybe worse this time.
But, I do know my friends and they aren’t even close to Charlie’s disrespectful persona. Maybe it could be a nice evening? “(I exhale, as I reply) Alright, auntie. I guess a little soiree tomorrow, won’t hurt anyone. You have a point, after all. Harry needs to have friends from his own age, it is his right to have people other than us.”
