Valerie's POV:

Harry’s marvellous eyes were waiting for me to greet him a good morning, which I chose not to do today. I took my tea cup and scattered out of the kitchen. MY breath hitched when I heard his voice calling, making it clear he was standing behind me. “Is Valerie okay?” I mutter a prayer of patience under my breath, as I turn around to face his innocent presence.
Looking at him now, makes me want to leap in his arms. His checkered PJs and those crystal white socks are causing me to lose my concentration and firmness. I can’t do this. I need to assure him that what happened yesterday is a big mistake.“No, Harry. I am not feeling well. Could you follow me to my room? I need to talk to you, if you don’t mind.” He nods as he follows my steps on the stairs and to my bedroom. I fling myself on the bed, placing my cup of tea on my nightstand.
He stares at me, awaiting a word to understand why I am not treating him like I always do. “Come sit, Harry.” I pat the edge of the bed, as he walks and sits himself. I manage to leave some space between us, as I try to grab as much words to help me explain myself. “Harry, you remember what happened yesterday in your room, right?” A crimson colour flushes his face at he memory, as he smiles with complete shyness.
“(I sigh then speak) What I did yesterday, was completely wrong. I did a bad thing, Harry. I shouldn’t have kissed you, because it is not right. You deserve to be with someone that you would want to kiss like I did yesterday. I am not the only young woman in this country, heck in this entire planet. (Pain slashes my heart deeply, as I proceed) Soon, you will be out in the world, meeting new people and I am more than positive that they will like you. You will, eventually, meet a young woman who is pretty and kind to share this moment with you. (I mutter) I’m sorry Harry. I didn’t know why I di-…”
His protesting voice interrupts my words: “But Valerie… Harry liked what Valerie gave me. (His blush returns) Harry, liked it so much that he woke up extra early to see Valerie. Valerie should not say sorry to Harry, because Harry wants Valerie to kiss me again… (He takes my hand in his palm, as he proceeds) Harry and Valerie kiss like Cinderella and the prince in the end of the movie. (He smiles) Harry felt the kiss was magic, like disney movies.”
His face changes to worry, when he notices that my eyes are pooling down muted tears. I didn’t even sniffle, I didn’t dare to move; the tears were burning my skin at contact. Burning it with fascination and awe.
He moves closer to me, placing both his hands on both my shoulders. “(He asks worriedly) Did Harry make Valerie, sad? (He frowns deeply) Harry didn’t mean to. Harry is very sorry and he likes Valerie a lot… Please forgive me, Valerie?”
I don’t forgive him verbally, instead I do as I imagined earlier down the stairs. I leaped myself in his arms, and surprisingly Harry hugged me back tightly. I let out a cry similar to an orphan child, as I nuzzled my face on his ribcage.
He likes me a lot? What about how he expressed his opinion? No man in Harry’s age would give a description that is that innocent and pure-hearted like he did.
“(He whispers) Its okay, Valerie. Harry likes you so much. (He hesitates for a moment, as I lift my head to face him) Could Valerie teach Harry how to kiss, please? (His shyness returns with a smile) Harry wants to kiss Valerie back, now please.” I giggle at his cuteness, nodding as he slowly hunches his lips towards mine, pecking them and allowing my soul to explode in pink and red fireworks.
