One More Hour. (18th Chapter)
…An Hour Later…

Valerie's POV:

“(He huffs) Ma’am, could you tell him to stop moving? I can’t get this shirt on him.” I shake my head to myself, as I stand up to enter the fitting room where Harry and a male assistant are in. I have picked out shoes, belts, pants, socks, underwear, and perfumes for both Harry and I, and all was left were shirts. “(I smile at him) I’ll take it from here, thank you.”
The assistant sighs in relief, as he leaves the room. Harry’s eyes blink at me, showing me the sadness because I left an assistant to help dress him up. Slowly, my fingers lift the hem of his shirt, scrolling it upwards from his body, leaving his abdomen bare. My eyes find it extremely difficult to avoid looking at his exposed skin, but I quickly take the sinful thought away from my mind.
I have never been close to a guy, nor intimate as much as I am with Harry. Just like him, I am experiencing something new; feelings that are yet unidentified are forming deep inside because of Harry. I take one of the hanged t-shirts, and hold it out to him. “(I smile cautiously) I’m going to put this on, alright Harry?” His eyes are staring at me with full intensity, as I slide the hole through his head.
I bend his long arms into the other holes, then I fix the hem of of the shirt and brush it to smooth it away. My fingers were able to feel his muscles as I was soothing the shirt, and that shot a flame internally. I rotate his shoulders so he could look at himself through the mirror, as I stand behind him. His eyebrows scrunch as he stairs at himself, admiring his reflection for the first time.
His long fingers stretch to touch the mirror, yet when he notices its just a solid surface, his fingers retract. “Nice?” I ask him as I point to the shirt. “Harry, Nice!” He says adorably, as I rub his back tenderly. I peek my head out of the door, calling for the previous assistant to come take the rest of the clothes to the cashier.“Ma’am, we need the clothes he’s wearing to cash them too. He needs to take them off, please.”
I shake my head in denial, as I reply. “He won’t be needing to do that. Just scan the same items’ tags and add them to the bill. He wants to keep wearing them.” The assistant nods, as I scan Harry’s amazing transformation. Black velvet loafers, beige skinny pants and a black t-shirt with leather short sleeves. This is what I call an adaptation makeover indeed.
…At Night (Back at the Wilson’s Residence)…
A butler and a maid rush outside to help Greg, the driver, with the endless bags of luxury purchases. I take the curtsy of escorting Harry inside, as I find it hard to keep my eyes away from his new look. He looks like a model figure, with those clothes. As Harry and I share a grin towards each other, we enter the villa to be welcomed by a poker face drawn on my dad’s features.
“(He speaks with a mixture of firmness and worry) One more hour, and I was going to call the police. (He begins to lecture me instantly) Valerie Marie Wilson, has the sunset taken away your maturity? Where have you taken Harry and left? You made sure to confirm to me and to your aunt that you wouldn’t leave this house, but instead you take a bigger risk and take Harry outside?! Do you know what could have happened in a worse case scenario?”
