Sorry, Harry. (16th Chapter)

Harry has learned the alphabetical spelling of all letters, by now. Aunt Regina told me that tomorrow, she will begin teaching him how to write them down, and how to spell each one as he does. She was amazed how fast of a learner Harry is, and she made sure to sit with me as I fed him his lunch meal.
Right now, the sassy tailor, Roger, has Harry stretched in front of him His hands are flapped horizontally, his legs are straightened on the ground, while Roger hovers around him with the measuring tape. “(His French accent sasses) This young man is very fit. (He stretches the tape over his back, then scribbles down digits on his pad) 32.” Poor Harry isn’t understanding anything, but I made sure to keep my smile on my face as I stared at him to comfort his tension.
“Roger, what have you taken so far?” The French tailor snaps his head at me, as he speaks: “Mademoiselle Wilson, do not interrupt a professional in working hours, please.” I roll my eyes at the sassy tailor, as he proceeds taking Harry’s fitting. “(He sighs) Bonne, I am done. Shirt’s size: M, Pants: 28, and footwear: 43.”
I nod as I motion for Harry to come to me with my palms. He flaps his arms downwards, and rushes in his white socks; kneeling down and hugging my knees like a little infant. Roger looks at him in confusion, as he asks: “What is he doing?” I quickly help Harry lift himself upwards, as I snake my hand through his shoulder. “Harry isn’t used on being social with people. He just seems happy when he is around people that he’s used to.”
Roger mumbles a curse in French, which makes me dart my eyes at him. “I heard that! (I state firmly) Apologise to Harry, please.” Roger has been our trustworthy tailor since I was a little girl, but his sassiness seemed to restrict his kindness. “Sorry, Harry.” Harry points his finger at himself, and smiles as he looks at me. “Harry!” He says in a cheerful matter, while Roger packs his stuff and leaves with a maid in escort.
Once Roger leaves, the maid rushes back towards where we are, and hands me the paper of Harry’s measurements. Harry looks at the maid and smiles, repeating: “Sorry, Harry.” I hold my abdomen, laughing hardly as the maid giggles lightly. “Miss, would you like us to bring you tea now?” I hesitate, looking at Harry, since an idea is bubbling in my mind.
“Actually, Harry and I will be going out shopping. If my father arrives earlier, tell him that Harry is safe with me.” The maid nods as I hold Harry’s hand and escort him to the door. The butler hands me my purse and coat, while another maid helps Harry put on my father’s sneakers. This is a huge risk, but I certainly have no other choice. My aunt and my father aren’t around, and I certainly cannot leave Harry on his own.
Plus, I need to grab him clothes, and it would be better if he came with me to try them on. I know he doesn’t know anything about the outer world, but he does need to learn sooner or later. However, my fear is not placed here. I am scared that Harry might run away, or I might lose him when we reach our desitnation. I just need to keep his hand in mine, and walk him through all the time.
