Louis' POV

"I'm glad you changed your mind" Harry smirks as he sips his beer and leans forward and folds his arms casually on the table. I nod as I sip my beer, the pub was the last place I wanted to be right now.

Harry was confident that getting me out for a couple of drinks, would do me some good. I'm only on crutches for now as it's still a bit sore to walk on, but I'm much better now. I just hate everyone fussing over me, I want things to be normal again.

"I suppose it's good to be out of those four walls again." I answer as I fold my arms. Harry nods and I know he's trying his best to cheer me up, I guess I'm not making it easy before or him.

"So what's going on with you and Bella?" Harry asks and I quickly look at him as this is completely out of the blue. Unless Bella has told him.

"What do you mean?" I ask even though I know he's going to continue anyway. He smirks and he rests his arms on the table as he leans forward.

"Well Bella keeps asking about you, but everytime I tell her to go and see you, she's goes all weird on me." Harry says and I try not to smile. I can imagine going shy and her cheeks turning a small shade of pink. "So there is something going on, isn't there." He smirks proudly as he sits back in his chair and folds his arms firmly across his chest.

"No." I answer quickly and I clear my throat. "Nothing is going on, but I'm hoping that will change." I add and Harry's eyebrows widen.

"Wait a minute, are you telling me I'm actually right? All this time I've tried to convince you two that you're supposed to be together, you finally try?" He asks amazed and I know there's no stopping him with this.

"Okay I've started to realise I like her. Maybe I'm a little too late, but I need to win her over and convince her that I'm serious." I say and Harry looks at me and tries to stop that smug smile of his that's creeping through.

"Those flowers, they were from you, weren't they?" He asks and I nod. "She loved them." He adds and I can't help but smile at him. "But flowers.." He adds and I suddenly frown.

"What's wrong with flowers?" I ask slightly offended as the bunch I bought Bella weren't exactly any old flowers.

"Well it's just so.." He stops as he thinks. "Boring." He states and I raise my eyebrows as I thought all women like flowers.

"Well if Bella loved them, like you say she did, then I guess I picked right." I answer and Harry shrugs. "What would you have done then?" I ask and Harry looks away.

"Well, Bella loves music so I probably would have bought her tickets to either Sam Smith or Ed Sheering as she likes both of them. Then I would have surprised her and maybe booked a night in a nearby hotel. Not for anything sexual, only because gigs usually finish late." Harry says and I bite my lip in a thinking manner.

"But what if Bella had been creeped out at the idea of a hotel booking? Don't you think that's a bit too much?" I ask and Harry shakes his head.

"No because she has a brain Louis. She'd understand the reasons." Harry answers and I look away shaking my head.

"No. I'm not sure on that idea. I think starting with flowers is good, next time I'll do something that will really make her weak." I smirk and Harry looks at me eager for me to continue. "I'm not quite sure what, but I'll think of something." I add and Harry laughs.

"Look, I'm happy to lend ideas mate, I'm the one that's wanted this for ages. You are meant for each other." Harry says and I smile as I appreciate his words.

"Well maybe you can help try to convince her that I'm serious about her." I joke and Harry nods.

"Of course." He answers and I try to tell him that I don't want to make her feel pressured, I need her to realise on her own, but with a little bit of help.

"I just don't understand that when I told her I liked her, she reacted the complete opposite to how I expected." I say completely forgetting that Harry has no idea what I am on about. "I told her the other day." I add and Harry looks shocked but glad.

"And she didn't jump up and down with Joy?" Harry asks confused and I frown at him.

"No, why would she jump up and down?" I frown as I don't think he's taking this as seriously as me.

"Because she likes You!!" Harry states matter of factly. I shrug and sip my beer as Harry does too.

"Well she's not that into me." I pause as I clear my throat. I explain further to Harry what Bella had said. I know she thinks it's too soon for me to have feelings for someone else so soon after Emily, I don't blame her either.

"Yeah she must think you want her like a rebound." Harry answers as he looks away in a daze. I know he's thinking as he too knows Bella pretty well.

"I just need to prove to her that she isn't a rebound." I sigh as I down the rest of my beer. I heavily slam the glass on to the table.

"You need to completely get Emily out of your life, I know she still calls and texts you. She has a way with you that really needs to be changed." Harry suggests and I don't bother saying anything as I am trying to get rid of Emily. I'm hoping soon she will get bored.

"I don't care about her" I mumble and Harry sighs.

"Look, I'm not interested in Emily at all. She's not the person I thought she was and once Max and Gary get what's coming to them, hopefully she'll realise I'm serious." I say and Harry nods.

"Or she may think you're doing it because you're fighting for her." Harry says as he looks wary.

"I'll make it very clear that's not the case." I snap and Harry nods again. "I know I was stupid and somehow trapped in Emily,but I know the truth now." I add and Harry sighs as he clear his throat.

"But what's going on with Holly?" He asks and I can't believe we are going into this. I can't blame him for being curious.

"Holly is becoming a good friend of mine, after what happened she was there for me even though I didn't want her around. But she proved she was just a caring person." I answer and Harry stays quiet. I know he isn't sure to agree with me. "She's not a threat of any kind to Bella." I add and Harry looks at me and nods slowly.

"Just keep yourself together and keep an eye on Holly. She may be a good friend now, but don't jump into a friendship so quickly. Learn to be wary to who you trust." Harry says and all I can do is nod as I know he's right.

I don't think Holly is going to turn on me like Emily did. I have a feeling that she's not one to worry about, besides I don't want to waste energy on worrying about her. I need to sort myself out and start doing the right thing, I won't confess to Harry but I'm slightly nervous about Bella. I hope she gives me a chance, all I can do is try it's up to her whether she gives me a chance.

"Well, you know best." Harry says after a short silence, I look at him and smile. I hope Harry's right.

Bella's POV

I scan the shop as I look For Mum's list of items. It's my sister's birthday tomorrow and Mum is baking her cake as she doesn't like buying ready made ones. It's so much hassle in my opinion to bake something that you can just buy. It'd partly laziness too, but I'm just not a baker. I like cooking proper things, creating a meal from fresh ingredients. I take the last item and I head towards the cash till. Luckily there's no que so I'm served instantly. Once I've paid I make my way back home, fortunately we only live a couple of minutes away from our local store.

"Bella." I hear and I stop and turn around. I feel angry already just by seeing her face, Emily.

"I need to speak to you." She says and I hesitate as I don't want to spend my time on her. "Please" She adds and I shake my head. I almost free as two guys look over at me as they lean casually on the wall opposite us.

"I'm not interested in anything you have to say." I answer and she sighs as she walks closer to me.

"Louis is in danger." She says quietly and she peeps over her shoulder. She looks back at me and I frown. "I need to protect him." She adds.

"You have no intention of protection Louis." I snap and she looks angrily at me. I try to keep fearless even though inside my heart is thumping rapidly.

"It's not just him." She says and she takes my hand. I jump as I pull away from her, what is she doing? She grabs me again and pulls me away but I can't seem to get her off me.

"Stop! Get off!" I shout and I kick her, she yells at me as she let's go and I start to run away from her. So many thoughts go around in my head. Why did she do that? What did she want from me?

Suddenly a car pulls up beside me and the door opens. I stop and I see Holly telling me to get in, I barely know her but for some reason I jump in.

"Are you okay?" She asks and I slowly shake my head and I explain what had happened. "Emily grabbed you?" She asks shocked and I nod. "That doesn't sound right." She mumbles.

"I think Max and Gary were there too." I pantt as I try to regain my breath.

"What is she playing at?" Holly sighs and I don't say anything. "Max and Gary really live in a different world, they probably think doing something to you is the best way to getting Louis." She adds and her words make my head go dizzy.

"Why?" I ask and Holly glances over to me.

"I think Louis told Emily how he feels about you." Holly says and I don't understand how she knows. I guess I'm aware that she gets on with Louis as a friend but I never thought he'd tell her that.

"Why would they want to get to Louis? They've caused enough damage already!" I snap and Holly looks away.

"They are vile people Bella. Max and Gary won't stop until they think Louis has payed the price. You and Harry are vulnerable too." Her words make me want to cry, what the hell is this?

They can't hurt Harry, he's done nothing wrong. I can't stand the thought of them hurting Louis again, but I know I can't protect them.

"Why is Emily going along with this. She told me Louis was in danger." I ask and Holly pulls up.

"I don't think Emily was trying to hurt you, she isn't like that. She was most probably warning you, I don't know why she doesn't leave Max, I don't know if she's scared.." Holly says as she looks away.

If Max is the kind of person that I think he is, then I'd be scared too. He's not exactly nice and I wouldn't put it past him if he threatens her." Holly says as she looks to me, I frown as I try to make sense of this.

"Then why doesn't she leave him?" I snap furiously as I don't understand these people.

"Because she's blinded by him, just like he was with Emily. " Holly answers and I can't believe anyone would want to be with either Max or Gary.

"Or there's a reason why she won't leave him. Maybe she's just as bad as them." I say and I open the car door as I suddenly don't trust anyone.

"Bella, wait." Holly says and I look at her, suddenly I start to panic.

"How did you know I was here? You're part of this to aren't you? You're sick! All of you!" I gasp and Holly shakes her head.

"No I'm not part of this, I'm only in the area to visit my Gran, she lives two minutes away." Holly says and I can't believe anything she says."Honestly, I saw you running and I didn't know what had happened." She adds.

"Just leave me alone." I shout at her and I grab my shopping bag. "Don't come near me again. Or Louis!" I add and Holly sighs as she let's me go. I quickly walk away realising I'm by Louis' flat. I start to jog as I just want to he with him, I want to feel safe as I don't understand anything that has just happened.

"Bella?" Did I imagine his voice? I turn around as I see Harry's car and Louis unwinds the window. I sigh in relief and I start to cry as I can't believe how glad I am to see them. Louis opens his car door and bites his lip as he stands up, he puts most of the pressure on his good leg.

""Go steady Louis!" Harry says as he leans over the seat and looks at us. Louis looks at me and I just throw my arms around him, I feel his hand on my back as he gently rubs me.

"It's okay Bella. It's okay." Louis says as I try to stop but the fear inside me has just come put through my tears.
