Niall’s POV

I glance in the rear view mirror at Tori over and over again, trying to make sure my baby’s okay. I roll in my lips, trying to keep my tears in. I need to let Jana and Tori both know that I’m strong enough to handle this.. even though I’m not. I’d rather cry than lie about it..

“Ni.. baby..’’ Jana whispers, grabbing my hand, gently rubbing her thumb over the top of my hand. ‘’Calm down.. keep your eyes off the mirror and on the road, okay?’’ She mumbles.

I nod as I keep ahold of her hand, thanking God that I was with no other person in the world. Jana calms me down when I’m fired up and pissed off, or afraid and nervous.. scared. All those things..

She’s my medicine. She’s my cure. She’s my everything.

We quickly go inside, Tori in my arms. She’s not crying, but I can tell on her pretty little face that she’s not okay right now. And hasn’t been for a while. ‘’Hi, what’s going on? How may I help you?’’ The woman behind the huge, circular desk asks Jana.

'’My daughter’s having stomach problems.. we think its in her female organs, not really her stomach.’’ Jana tells the lady just as I’ve been telling her.

‘’Okay, sign these quickly and we’ll get her in as soon as we can. Thankfully, we’re not too busy tonight.’’ She smiles gently at me as Jana kindly takes the pen she offered and begins filling out the papers.

She begins to talk aloud to herself, which I think is cute. Its more like mumbling, but still. I put Tori down as she asks me if she can go watch the TV that’s on. Its on Sponge Bob, her favorite show.

I let her go since there was hardly any one here. She sits down in a chair and stares up at the TV hanging on the wall. I’m sure she’ll be okay. I turn my attention to Jana. ‘’Niall.. James.. Horan.’’ She mumbles. I smile a little as I place my arm around her back and my hand on her waist.

‘’September.. thirteenth.. nineteen.. ninety.. three.’’ She sighs as she leans up and places a gentle kiss on my lips as the lady takes the papers from her.

‘’I know one thing.’’ I whisper. ‘’What?’’ She asks. ‘’That you know my full name and my birthday.’’ I wink at her. ‘’I had to fill it out.. and I was.. nervous.’’ She admits as she glances over my shoulder, probably at Tori.

Its glad to know that I’m not the only nervous one anymore..
