Chapter 23: Surprise?
Jana's current week: week #33//month #8
Jana's POV
I could have swore I heard Harry's laugh as I walked down the stairs. But yet, I didn't to think that because honestly.. I wanted a quiet day. Alone. Just us here. But of course, Harry has to show up on the only day I don't want him to. Surprise, surprise... something goes wrong for me, as always.
I get to the living room, and yep. My dreams are crushed as I see Harry sitting on one couch, Niall on the other, both laughing at their conversation. I walk over to Niall and sit down beside him, his arm goes around me and I feel him place a light kiss below my ear. ‘’Mornin’ beautiful.’’ He whispers before kissing my cheek.
‘’G’morning..’’ I mumble, upset a little. ‘’What’s up with you, babe?’’ He asks. I glance over at him. But I don’t say anything, I just shake my head as if nothing was wrong. Although, there was something wrong. ‘’Is Tori still asleep?’’ He asks, curiously, and trying to quickly change the topic, for my sake I hope.
I nod a little as he sighs to himself. ‘’You sure you’re okay?’’ He asks. ‘’Yes.’’ I say, looking at the floor, and not in his eyes. He could surely have noticed something was up if I looked straight at him, which I didn’t. Thankfully.
I try to drown them out as I pick my phone, they begin their conversation again. I send Niall a message, hoping he can keep it to himself. ‘’I’m going upstairs.’’ I mumble before standing up, trying my best, my back aching like Hell.
Me: There is something wrong..
‘’M’kay, baby. Can I get a kiss before you go?’’ He asks me as he stands up, placing his hands on my waist. I smile gently as I nod a little. I lean to his lips and give him the best kiss I can right now, with out going too far.

Once I finally get upstairs, I by pass our bedroom. I go to the end of the hallway and go up the smaller flight of stairs that leads to the loft, a space Niall promised could be all mine. My relaxation place. I was thankful for it too. I shut the door, not locking it though, just incase if something happened.

I lie down on my side on the bed and look at my phone, I received a reply to my message. At least I know he cares enough to reply to it.
Niall: What’s wrong babe?
Me: I didn’t know Harry was gonna be here today. You said we could be alone for once. I wanted some peace and quiet.. :’(
Niall: I know baby. He showed up, and I didn’t wanna be mean. Are you mad at me?
Jana: No..
Niall: Okay..
I sit my phone down, not replying to his message. I close my eyes, and I find myself drifting back to sleep. For once, I can have peace. And quiet.
