Niall’s POV
I sit beside Jana in one of the ballroom chairs, which are super comfortable. She’s holding my hand as we all watch Perrie and Sophia explain the first game to us, we already opened the gifts. They were all very nice.
‘’Okay, who ever gets the bag with the blue M&M’s will get a prize!’’ Perrie squeals as Sophia passes out small white bags with ribbon that ties the handles together. “This is just a little starter, soon we’re gonna get started on the bigger and more fun things and-“ Perrie gets cut off by the sound of the doors being opened.
I turn around to see that its some girl with long dark brown hair running over to everyone. ‘’Sorry I’m late, Mr. Chad, it took forever to get here!’’ She says as she sits in an empty chair beside Jana’s dad. ‘’Jana! Oh my god.. its been super duper long since I saw you!’’ She says, her green eyes staring over at Jana as she smiles brightly to her.
‘’Ka-kayla?” Jana stutters as she stares back at the girl. She gets up and runs over to Jana, she hugs her tightly as Jana stands up to greet her. ‘’its been.. so damn.. long.’’ I hear Jana whisper to the girl. ‘’I know.. I missed you, girly.’’ The girls says, Kayla I assume is her name.
‘’Jana?’’ I mumble as she sits back down beside me. ‘’Oh, Ni, this is my old, old, old friend Kayla..’’ She tells me as Kayla hurries back to her seat. ‘’I surprised you, didn’t I?’’ Chad smiles, his eyes glued on me as they have been for almost an hour, basically since he showed up here. I bet he doesn’t even trust me, oh hell, he doesn’t even like me.
‘’Anyways, family reunion later…’’ Perrie mumbles as everyone has gotten their bags. ‘’Okay, open your bags!’’ She smiles and we all begin to open our bags. I look inside mine to see nothing but yellow M&Ms. I glance over at Jana’s bag, pink ones. “Who’s got the blue?’’ Sophia asks.
‘’I do Sophie! I do!’’ Tori giggles as she jumps off Liam’s lap and takes Sophia the bag. I watch as Sophia looks inside, a smile forming on her face. ‘’Well I be…’’ She stops herself from saying the rest of that sentence as she laughs lightly.
“Well, take this to your Daddy, this your prize.’’ Sophia hands her a hundred dollar bill and Tori happily runs over to me and hands it to me. I reach down beside me and pick up Jana’s purse and I drop it in the pocket before Tori climbs onto my lap.
“M’kay, last game of the night before we all head over to Jana’s for dinner.’’ Perrie smirks, glancing over at me. Me and her had planned this whole thing. Jana just looks over at me, confused. But I just smile and she rolls her eyes playfully as she looks back at the girls.
‘’Everyone will get a notepad and a pen. In this game, you have to name as many baby stuff as you can in five minutes, when we call time, time’s up! And then we’ll see who has the most!’’ Sophia says as she sits on the table top as Perrie passes out the things to everyone.
‘’What about Tori?’’ She asks me as she reaches us. ‘’Just give me one, she doesn’t need one.. me and her can do it together.’’ I say and she nods as she hands me just one pad and a pen.
I begin to write down the things I knew for sure: Diapers, baby wipes, baby powder, baby lotion, baby shampoo, baby soap, blankets, booties, baby socks and other clothes, shoes, stroller, car seat, diaper bag.
And to be honest, that was really all I knew..
Finally, Perrie called time. ‘’Okay! That’s it!’’ She says with a smile. Everyone stops writing and looks up at the girls to see what we do next. ‘’Okay, Mr. Bennett, how many did you get?’’ Sophia asks and Chad counts his items.
‘’Ten.’’ He smiles as he looks across the seating arrangement, we all sit in a half circle, at Jana. “Okay.. Liam?’’ Perrie says as Sophia begins to write the totals out. ‘’Seven.’’ He says and Perrie nods and continues once she knows Sophia is ready to begin writing.
‘’Zayn?’’ she glances at him, but doesn’t keep a stare or gaze. “Six.’’ He mumbles, not looking at her either. ‘’Louis?’’ She asks him, ignoring Zayn. ‘’Ten.’’ He sighs and rolls his eyes as he laughs at himself. ‘’Okay.. Ele?’’ Perrie asks her. ‘’Fourteen.’’ She says as Louis looks over at her, shocked, but just kidding around.
‘’Harry?’’ She asks. ‘’Twelve.’’ He says proudly.

In the end, my mom had the most, which to me isn’t shocking.
