Healing The Scars

Hannahs P.O.V.

Before stepping outside Harry handed me a pair of sunglasses. I raised an eyebrow and he just shrugged apologetically. I put the sunglasses on, giggling as I did. We weren't recognised as we walked to Harrys car which wasn't far away. As I got in, I noted how clean it was.

I crossed my legs, placing them on the dashboard and rolled down the window slightly. Harry laughed at me. "Turn on the radio there love" he told me. I did ad he said. The radio filled the car with a farmiliar song I loved. 'Teenage Dirtbag.' "Cause I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby!" I sang loudly and out of key. Harry chuckled but then joined in. We were both practically screaming at the top of our lungs, sounding terrible but we didn't care.

By the end of the song we were both laughing. "I must say Styles, your a much better singer in person" I told him seriously. "Not half as good as you" he teased back.

We spent the rest of the car ride singing along to any song that came on, whether or not we knew the words. When 'Cant Hold Us' Macklemore came on, we did an awful job at attempting the rap. By the time we reached the house, I was laughing so hard there were tears in my eyes. I hadn't laughed that much in so long. Its felt good to just laugh all my worries away.

Pulling up to the house I felt nervous. If you could even call it a house! A mansion more like! "This is where you live?" I asked, shocked. Harry nodded, surprised at my reaction. "C'mon in" he said, stepping out of the car. I got out too and followed him to the front door which he opened, walking straight into the large hall. "Woah!" I whispered to myself but Harry heard and turned to wink at me.

He led me down the hallway to the right where there was a huge living room. Three giant couches, a huge flat screen television and a grand piano in the corner of the room. I gasped, instantly making my way to the piano. I looked back at Harry who was watching me curiously. "Do you mind if I use it?" I asked, feeling suddenly very rude. He smiled kindly. "Go ahead love" he replied. I grinned before sitting on the stool. I had always wanted a grand piano but we could never afford one. I had an upright which was wonderful of course but I always loved grand pianos.

My fingers ran across the keys quickly before I began to play 'The River Flows In You.' It had always been my brothers favourite tune and so I played it everyday without fail since hr died. I thought of him as I got lost into the tune. My fingers knew what to do and I felt as if they were seperate from me as they continued the beautiful melody. I though about how much my brother loved life. His ambitions and dreams. We weren't like those siblings in tv who always fought. We got along really well. He was always there for me. It was him who encouraged me to try out for a music scolarship in the first place.

As the melody died out I heard a round of clapping. I turned to face Harry but was instead faced by five boys. "Woah, what's wrong?" Harry asked in a concerned tone. My hand flew to my eyes and sure enough there were a few tears that escaped my eyes. I shook my head. "Nothing, that song is just really special to me" I told him, wiping my face hurriedly. "Your very good" Liam told me. "Very good? Shes fricking brilliant" Niall corrected him. I blushed. "Thanks" I told them both. "Did you bring your friend?" Niall asked. I shook my head. "Sorry" I replied.
