Healing The Scars

Hannahs P.O.V.

I lifted my legs from Harry and followed as he silently left the room. "Seriously Styles, I could get lost in this house" I muttered as he led me to the kitchen. He chuckled. "You'll get used to it" he said without thinking. I raised my eyebrows and he blushed a little. Wghen we got to the kitchen he took out a box of microwavable popcorn. "This is all we got" He told me. I giggled. "It'll do" I shrugged as he put the first bag into the microwave.

"So.." he began turning to me as soon as the microwave came on. "You dont like Titanic?" he asked. "Why would you say that?" I asked confused. "You seemed pretty awkward when it first came on" he shrugged. I shook my head. "Its one of my favourite movies.. it just makes me sad" I explained, embarrased. He nodded. "Its pretty sad... The whole movie is sad actually, when you know how its gonna end" he agreed. I was surprised. No one else ever got why I felt sad watching the beginning of the movie. Maybe Harry wasn't just the flirt everyone talked about.

"Hannah?" he waved a hand in front of my face. "W-what?" I stuttered, being pulled out of my daydream. "Have I got something on my face?" he asked. I laughed. "No Harry" I told him, blushing. He nodded. "So, how'd you learn to play all those instruments?" he asked, as the microwave beeped, signalling that the popcorn was ready . He put it into a bowl and put in another bag. "The others will all want some" he explained, turning the microwave back on. Then he faced me again. "I'm pretty much self taught" I shrugged. "I mean I've done all my piano grades and stuff but I dont know.. I kinda just picked it up..like learning to walk and talk... I didn't really need to be taught.. It was kinda like a second nature" I added. He seemed impressed. "Your really talented" he told me. I felt myself blush and I looked down. I couldn't understand why.. I mean I could normally flirt with guys no problem but there was something about Harry that made me feel... Weird.

When I looked back up I saw that Harry had taken a step towards me. Our eyes met and I felt my heart thumping. Before I had a chance to think about what was happening Harry began to lean in. I felt my stomach flutter as he got closer.. Our lips were just about to meet when - "Harry can you-"

We sprang apart to see a smirking Louis. "What do you want Louis?" Harry asked sounding annoyed. I felt my cheeks burning as I removed the now finished popcorn from the microwave. "Me and El want some popcorn too" He told us. Harry handed him the first bowl. "Share with Liam and Dani too" he told him as Louis took the bowl from his hands. "You two have fun" Louis winked making his way out of the room.

"I'm sort, he has the worst timing" Harry told me. I shrugged. "It was probably for the best" I said quietly. "What?" Harry asked confused. "Harry, I come with alot of baggage" I whispered barely audible. "I dont care" he whispered back. "I'm gonna bring this into the others" I whispered, picking up the now full bowl of popcorn. "Hannah..." Harry said almost pleadingly. I didn't look back as I made my back to the sitting room. There was no way I could drag another person into my life. I just couldn't do it. I liked Harry and there was no way I was gonna let him get hurt by my crazy mess. I handed the bowl to Niall, Em and Zayn. Louis gave me a confused look as I sat down.

Harry came in, minutes later and sat down next to me stiffly. I could feel Louis watching us. I knew Harry was upset but hey, he had only met me yesterday. He'd be over it in no time. I was doing the right thing, right?
