I woke up with a big smile on my face, which hadn't happened for a long time. My thoughts were directed to Harry again, nothing could stop us from being together. I told the whole truth, I removed the chains that pulled me away from him.
Today I had to give my portfolio to Mrs. Morgan, and then I was thinking to surprise Harry. I wanted to tell him that I was ready to be with him, I wasn't afraid. Not anymore.

I knocked on the door and slowly walked into the room. Mrs. Morgan was looking at pictures of other students, but stopped when I approached.
'Hey, Emma. Sit down!'- She pointed at the chair in front of her desk, and I made ​​myself comfortable, handing my portfolio. -'I hope you liked the photo shoot.'
'Yeah, it was fun and different.'
'Can I ask you something?'- Her questioning eyes stopped on mine and I nodded. -'I want to thank your friend Harry Styles for the opportunity to make a photo shoot with One Direction.'

'Mr. Styles call to arrange a photo session with the university.'
I couldn't believe my ears, it was all staged. Just when I thought that there were no lies... The fact that Harry called the university where I study, and they chose me as part of a photo shoot, hurt me. Why was everything in his life... staged? How could I forget those things just like that? Too many times we hurt each other, even God gave us signs that we shouldn't be together. My decision made ​​me think again. Whether I was ready to risk everything?
'Emma, are you okay?'- Mrs. Morgan took my hand, interrupting my endless thoughts.

Walking down the hallway to the exit, moments with Harry invaded my mind...

'Yes! That you're my girlfriend and I'm your boyfriend.'

'I can't accept this and will wait as it takes. Just know that I'm here, next to you.'

How could I fight this? It was too complicated and difficult...

My phone rang, Harry was calling. I wanted to hear the truth from him, because I got tired of everyone lying to me.
'Emma, Ares is really bad. You have to come.'- He sounded breathless and anxious.
'Tell me this isn't one of your games and lies...'
'Emma, Ares needs you. Come to the hospital on 84 York Street.'
Everything went black, I wasn't ready to lose my dog. I didn't know what had happened to him...I started to run and got into a taxi. My whole body was shaking, I was afraid of losing my lovely friend.
When I arrived at the hospital, I went to one of the elevators. Harry's waiting in the hallway with his head down. I ran towards him, his eyes were red and tears were streaming down his cheeks.
'What happened?'- I asked, worried.
'We went for a walk, I dropped the leash and Ares popped on the road. Then a car hit him.'
'Oh my God...'
'I... I didn't want this to... It's all my fault.'- Harry went about back and forth, visibly upset and worried. He started kicking a chair in the hallway, but I stopped him and wrapped my arms around his body, trying to calm him down.
'Don't blame yourself. Calm down!'
He relaxed his body and hugged me. Seeing the pain in his eyes, made ​​me feel terrible. I never wanted to let him go. Both sat on the chairs next to each other.
'Do you even know how's Ares?'
'No... I brought him here and then nothing.'
I put my hand on his back to make him feel better.
The time was 11 pm and nobody could tell us something. We could only wait and pray that everything was going to be okay. I put my head on Harry's shoulder. We wanted to say so many things, but we were standing in silence.
'Lord, have mercy and help us... what did we do wrong?'- The words slowly slipped out of my mouth.
Harry turned to face me and looked at me with so much pain in his eyes. Slowly stroked my cheek and I felt his love... Just one touch could show me how much he wanted us to be together. He slowly leaned forward to kiss my lips.
'Good evening, I'm sorry that it took so long.'- The doctor came to us, breaking our kiss.
'How is Ares?'
'The situation is stabilized, underwent surgery because the dog had internal injuries.'
'When can we see Ares?'
'Come back tomorrow, we can't let you now.'
'Thank you very much.'-Harry hugged the doctor and took my hand.- 'Come on, Emma.'
'Will you drive me home?'
'No, you can't go home, it's too late. I'm taking you to my flat. You'll tell your brother that you slept at Bella.'
I accepted his offer and went to his apartment. I was too tired to keep my eyes open and laid on the couch, waiting for Harry because he's cooking, even though I wasn't hungry.
I felt how he picked me up, put me on the bed in his bedroom and covered my body with a soft blanket.
'I wish us to be together... despite everything and everyone.'- He stroked my cheek and kissed it, and then walked to the door.
'Harry, don't leave me, please.' - He froze, realizing that I heard his words.
Harry walked slowly to the bed, laid down next to me and I put my head on his chest.
'We can try... again. I'm ready.'
He wrapped his arms around me, making me feel better than ever. I felt safe.
