Christmas Eve
Harry's POV

"So we're not going to see you tomorrow at all?" Louis asks as he looks at me. He frowns as I look to him and sigh.

"The plan is to stay over Steph's." I answer and Liam nods. Both he and Louis are going to their parents in the morning, then they'll share the evening together as they are having family over at the flat, it's going to be a small party that Louis has been so excited about.

"Well have a good time, send Steph our love." Liam says with a smile. I thank him and give him a hug and I turn to Louis.

"Sorry Bud." I say as I hug him. He sighs as hugs me back.

"Just get their safely." Louis says as he pats my back and I smile at them both.

"I will." I say and they walk me to the door.

"Merry Christmas!" I say as I open the door and they both wave to me at the door. I wave as I get in the car and I start the car.

I'm excited to see Stephanie. I'm hoping she likes the present I've got her, I'm not usually the type to know what to get people. I need to ask her if she'll make things official with us but I'm worried about how to ask and when. I know it's nothing big like an engagement, but it feels big to me because we've been so up and down I just want us to be together and to be happy.

I'm also glad with how well I'm getting on with Niall, he stayed in London last week and we spent most of the time practising with Zayn and Liam. So far we are doing okay, with a few more strict rehearsals we should sound at least okay for the gig. Everyone's voices so far are impressing me, Niall is a little quite, Zayn can hit nearly any note and Liam is just powerful. I've listened back to us a couple of times and we blend together as well as anyone who isn't professional can. I'm actually proud of us that we are doing this and I'm grateful how much they're helping me.

Stephanie's POV

I look at Mum who's currently preparing bits for the big day tomorrow. I can't believe Christmas has arrived so fast. It's been really good lately, Harry and I have been getting on better than ever. Although apparently I've been a little more cranky as I've hated being apart from Harry. All I want is to be with him and it's starting to take it's toll on me. But I don't have long now, until I can change the stressful things in my life.

"Hey honey, Harry's here." Mum says as she carries a large turkey through to the kitchen. I turn on my stool and look to see Harry walking in with the biggest smile on his face.

"Hey!" He says as I stand up, he leans down and kisses my forehead. "I can't stop, I'm on my way to Mum's as Dad is there too. Do you want to come with me?" He asks to my surprise. I wasn't even planning on seeing him today.

"Sure, why not." I say as I do feel nervous at the thought of meeting his Dad again. I remember him from my childhood. He was more quieter than Anne and I always became a little shy around him. I am curious to know what he's like now.

"Cool, come on." Harry says as he runs my back soothingly, my Mum turns to us.

"Are you able to drop her home?" Mum asks and Harry instantly agrees and says we will only be a couple of hours. I smile at him appreciatively, "Thanks Harry."

"See you later." I smile as I take Harry's hand and we both say goodbye. I look to Harry and I feel blessed that I have him back especially at this time of the year. "I've missed you." I add as I look up at him.

"I've missed you too." He smirks and opens the door. He gestures for me to step out but I suddenly think of something.

"Wait!" I say as I grab my coat and I quickly run upstairs. Harry looks at me frowning when I slowly come back down. "I wanted to give you something." I say as I walk past him and open the door. He follows me outside.

"What is it?" Harry asks as he looks at me as I hand him a card.

"I was supposed to give it to you tomorrow, but I wanted to give it to you when we are alone." I say as I walk towards his car. He walks up to me and starts to open it, I smile as he takes his Christmas card out the envelope and smiles.

"I didn't get you a card.." Harry says before opening it, he looks at me worried.

"It's fine, don't be silly." I say and Iook to the card and so does he. As he takes the piece of paper out of the card, I start to feel butterflies as he reads the letter.

"Steph..." He mumbles as he finishes reading and his eyes widen. A smile plays on his lips as he looks at me. "Are you serious?" He asks.

"Yes. I hate being apart from you and I haven't told my parents yet, so I thought I'd write it in a letter and give it to you." I say as I walk towards him and close the small gap inbetween us.

"I can't believe you've done this.." Harry says as he strokes my cheek.

"All I've been doing is looking for jobs, in London. I am ready to take things a little further, that's why I want us to move in together. Start fresh and get a new place?" I tremble as the words leave my mouth.

"I never expected this." He says as leans down and he kisses me. "As long as this is what you want."

"More than anything else. You do so much for me and with what happened with Naomi, it made me realise how much I love you. I can't lose you so I need to put effort in and do this for us." I whisper and I reach up and kiss him.

"It means alot for you to say that." He smiles sincerely. "At last, no more driving back and forth. But maybe we should wait until after New Year to start looking. I don't want to give Louis anymore bad news." I suggest and Stephanie smiles with a hint of laughter escaping her lips.

"That's fine, I start the job in three weeks." I answer and we both climb into the car.

"You'll have to stay with us until we find a place." Harry says and I love hearing him say that. I thank him in return. I'm so glad he likes the idea of living together, for some it s a majorly big step, but for me it's a sign to show Harry how much I love him. This is the only way I can be happy and to be with him.

Harry's POV

With Stephanie's news and proposition has made Christmas definately come more early for me. I never thought she'd ever want to move to London, let alone get a job there.

I can't wait to picture a flat or house together, just me and her. Some may question us and suggest that it's too soon, but as long as we are ready then that's all that matters. We've come through enough drama and shit, now we finally deserve to be happy. I even contemplated that I'd move back to Manchester to be with her more. I even thought about speaking to Mark and Ryan to ask if I can go back working at the May's studio. But I'm more than relieved and grateful at Stephanie's effort and she doesn't even realise how happy she has made me.

We pull up outside and I look to Stephanie as we both take off our seat belts. She's so beautiful I'm glad we're on good terms. I can't imagine her being anyone else's, I want her to be mine.

"Wait Steph." I say as she closes the car door. I walk toward her and she looks at me puzzled. "I've been thinking about your offer, but I have to ask you one thing." I say and she nods. "If you're going to move to London and we're going to live together, then I want you to be mine properly. Boyfriend and girlfriend, for real." I add and Stephanie smiles.

"You had me worried for a bit there." She laughs and puts her arms around my neck.

"So?" I ask her and she reaches up and kisses me.

"Do I even need to answer?" She whispers and I smile. "All I can is, you took your time" She adds.

"I too was supposed to wait until tomorrow. I think it goes to show just how impatient we both are" I say as her arms fall down to her sides and I put my arm around her and guide her towards the front door.

Notes

Sorry it's only a short chapter, I just thought it would be nice to show how they're getting on and what Stephanie has been planning for a while. It said in a previous chapter about her enquiring for a job, I didn't mention the job search was for London ;)
anyway, I know it can suck when a chapter is short, but it will continue into another chapter, that I will post tomorrow!
