Camping Trip

Ashton's P.O.V.

Everyone headed into their tents including Rachel and I. I was pretty sure Calum had some plan to get Gabby into his tent instead of her own. I was pretty shocked that Rachel had been right about them liking each other.

That was three. Three couples already. It was so unfair because I liked Rachel way before any of them three liked their girls. Yet they all managed to narrowly avoid the friendzone. Yet here I was, as friendzoned as could be.

I would really have to ask them how they did it.

"Ashton!" Rachel snapped her fingers in my face, bringing me back to reality.

"Mmhh?" I hummed in response.

"Didnt I tell you Calum and Gabby liked each other" she grinned widely and I felt the familiar pang in my lower abdomin I got when I was around her. I couldnt resist the smile that spread across my face.

She continued talking away about them but my mind was elsewhere. I really needed to do something soon. The biys were right, if I left it too long it might get too late.

I was still thinking about it when I fell asleep.



I woke up before Rachel the next morning. In her sleep she had rolled over in her sleeping bag so that she was laying her head on my stomach as if it were a pillow.

I couldnr help but smile at her, wishing I could stay like that al day.

However, I couldnt. I needes to talk to the boys, badly. And so I very carefully moved her off of me, replacing myself with a pillow.

I got out of the tent quietly and walked to the campfure to see Calum and Mchael up.

"Hey Ash" Calum gretted as I sat down next to them.

"Look guys I need your help. I need to do something about this crush on Rachel. Its killing me. What did you guys do? With Gabby and Brianna? I have absolutely no idea what to do.." I trailed, glancing between them.

Michael shrugged.

"I guess it was kinda when we kissed.. I dont know I mean there was just a spark there and I instantly knew she liked me back" He explained.

Calum nodded in agreement.

"Oh well thats no problem at all, I'll just march right up to her and say 'Oi Rachel, c'mere and let me kiss-"

"We could play a game?" I turned my head to see that the source of the interruption was Sasha.

I raised an eyebrow.

"A game?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Yeah like truth or dare or spin the bottle or something. One of us will dare her to kiss you and then you can see how you feel" she explained.

I nodded.

"Okay.." I sighed. "I guess its worth a shot.."
