Camping Trip

~*~Gabby’s POV~*~
In the morning, I woke up to find a sleeping Sasha. I went out of the tent and found a window open in Rachel’s and Brianna’s tent. I just wanted to peak in to see if anyone else was awake. OMG!!!!! I scream to myself in my head when I see Brianna and Michael cuddling. I feel so happy for her, Michael was the first guy that she really liked.
As I am sitting down and eating breakfast and drinking my tea, Rachel and Ashton walk out of the same tent. I go back to my tea and look down awkwardly. “Hey Gab” Rach says “Mornign” I say with the biggest smile on my face “Ummm Ray, can I talk to you for a minute?” with a suggestive smile. “Sure…..” she says.
“Ok so I saw Brianna and Michael and then you and Ashton, please tell me whats going on.” “Ok, Ashton and I set them up and yeah, I guess it worked.” She said with a smile. “And what about you and Ash?” I asked curiously. “He likes someone, but I don’t know who it is and it is bugging me a lot.” “You really don’t get it do you.” I say with a slight laugh and walk away. As I walked away, I got a glimpse of Rachels confused look.
When I made it back, Calum was sitting by Ashton chatting about something. “Hey guys” I say with a happy expression “Hey princess ” he says with a smile “what was that?” with a slight laugh “nothing” and with that, came a not so awkward silence.
Once everyone was up Rachel and Ashton started acting really weird. “Hey Gab, you should write a song with Calum” she said with a devilish grin “I’d be good with that” Calum said looking at me. Rachel and Ash were looking at me pleadingly. “Ok, I would be good with that.” Just then Calum sprung up and took me by the hand.
Once we got our stringed friends, Calum took me to a place that I have never seen before. “This is amazing” I said with a smile ear to ear. We were standing on a little clearing by a cliff that dropped off into the lake. “I’ve only been up here once before” he says with glancing at me then back at the horizon.
We start to write, but after a little, we got tired and laid down on the cool grass. “Hey Gabby, look at this” I leaned closer to him, mainly leaning on him as he pointed to a crane diving for a fish. “I’ve never seen one of those before, that is so cool” I said with amazement. I look back over to Calum who was staring at me. “What?” I say with a giggle “Your just so beautiful” he says cutely. I looked down to hide my blush but only to be surprised with a pair of soft lips hit mine. I’m taken aback by it for a second, then I kiss back. Calum placed his hand onto the small of my back as he lowered me down to the grass. He pulls back first, to be honest, I’m sad about it. “I hope that that was ok” he says with a smirk “It was fine, I was sort of hoping that you would do that sooner or later.” I say and peck his lips. He kisses me one more time and the head back with our stringed friends in one hand and the others in the other.
Once we reach the camp, every one is astonished by what they are seeing. It was about dinner time so every one was gathered by fire. Calum sits down then pulls me on his lap. I take his offer and plop down. Rachel is leaning her head on Ashton in a friendly way, and I still don’t see that she is the one that he likes. I see Brianna and Micheal, with his arm over her shoulder, and Sasha and Luke with each other also. It makes me smile as we all start to roast marshmallows. Its good to see everyone like this, it makes me wonder though, how will this all end? I lean back into Calum and eat my smokie. (chocolate chip cookie, marshmallow, chocolate chip cookie) Then we all head to the tents for the night. I still have to decide who I am going with though.
