Same Mistakes

Jordan's head pounds as she walks into the daycare room. Jenna runs over to her and she picks her up sluggishly as she strains her eyes closed for a second. She opens them back up to find Jenna putting her hands on either of her cheeks. Jenna's small hands pull her face towards hers.

''Whats wrong Mama?''She asks her.

''Nothing.''She smiles gently and Jenna nods as Jordan walks over to a huge cover lied out on the floor, pillows and toys all around it. She grabs Dawson and holds him in her other arm, her hip supporting him, as she walks from the room.

As she gets to the lobby she sees Sara and Niall chatting together. She raises her eyebrows and walks over to them.
(eyebrows only)
''um Sara?''She says and Sara turns to her.

''Oh hi sweetheart, Niall was just asking if he could see Jenna and Dawson. That is okay,isn't it? Just for today?''Sara gives Jordan the you-need-to-do-this look. Jordan nods and Niall takes Dawson from her arm.

''Look-a-here!''Niall says as he holds him in the air.

Dawson giggles happily as he recognizes Niall very well. Niall bounces him in the air and he giggles even more.

''Dada.''He slurs out.

''That a boy!''Niall says and kisses his forehead.Dawson has been working on that for a few months. He's a master at it now.

''Love you.''He whispers and Dawson smiles, showing on a few teeth.

Jordan takes Dawson back and Niall smiles at Jenna, who smiles right back. Jordan puts her down and she jumps up and down in front of Niall with her arms up high.

''Hey my princess!''Niall says as he holds her tight in his arms.

''hi Daddy.''She whispers to him.

''have you been a good girl for Mommy?''Niall whispers as he cuts his eyes towards Jordan.

''yes Daddy.''She assures him with a sigh.

She leans up and kisses his nose.

''When I go to your house Daddy?''She asks him with a smile on her face.

''Soon.''He assures her and she nods.

''Give me a kiss babe.I have to go.''He says and puckers his lips out.

She places a small kiss on his lips. He returns the favor and they hug each other tight. He puts her down and she wave sadly as he walks away.

Sara smiles at Jordan as she watches Niall walk off.

''You need to go home and rest of for the rest of the week.''Sara says and pats Jordan's shoulder as she walks away.

''I need to do a lot of things..''Jordan mumbles as she picks up Jenna in her other arm and begins walking to the exit.

--that night--
Niall looks at his phone screen at Jenna. Jordan's there too, but only to assist Jenna,not to talk to him. She hasn't said a word to him since she received those court papers months ago.

''Daddy i come tomorrow?''She asks him.

''no baby, the next day.''He reminds her.

''Two days Daddy?''She asks holding up two fingers.

''Yep.''

''O'tay''She smiles lightly and he smiles back.

''Bye Jenna.Daddy loves you cupcakes.''he say as she waves.

''Wove you too Daddy!''She says and blows him a kiss.

''give Dawson a kiss for me.''He says.

''O'tay.Bye!''

''Bye baby..''He says as she runs off.

''Jordan.''Niall says.

''What do you want?''she asks him and rolls her eyes.

''Sleep tight. Tuck Jenna in good..tell her I love her..''

''that all?''She sighs out.

''no..one more thing.''He says.

''What?''

''In the next few weeks..when we go to court..don't lie okay?''

''What do you mean?''She asks furrowing her eyebrows.

''Don't like about me not being there. Be honest..It doesn't matter..because its the truth. okay?''He says. He runs his hand through his hair.

''okay.''She mumbles.

''Good luck...''he whispers.

She smiles gently and he ends the Face Time.
